The next morning, Katherine awoke to the familiar tattooed arm around her. She stretched and yawned. "Good morning, fiancé." Chris said pulling her closer. "Morning, soon to be husband." She rolled over smiling. "Your mother has basically planned everything overnight." He laughed and buried his face in her hair.

"You know her and planning. I don't mind though." Katherine sat up and stretched again. "Do you have a date in mind?" He asked rubbing his fingers up and down her lower back. Katherine hummed and then she remembered a day that was coming up. "How about that day I proved how much I cared about you? That's a month away." She turned and looked at him.

Chris smiled. Then he really had to work on those things and quickly. He didn't want anything or anyone to ruin his one chance at finally being happy. If something did happen, Chris wasn't going to take it lightheartedly especially after so many years of being alone.

"I think that's actually perfect." Chris was honest about that. That day they met was the start of a positive change in both their lives and it felt right that they would be forever together. He sat up and wrapped his arms around her. Someone knocked at her door. Her mother came in looking a little frantic. "Gina's here again. I forgot you two are dress shopping." Katherine immediately jumped out of bed and began searching for clothes to wear. "Isn't it kind of early?" Chris looked at his watch.

Katherine ran into the bathroom and closed the door. "She probably wants to hear about our supposedly first date." Katherine hastily got dressed in a simple red dress. "I'll tell her, you'll be right down." Her mother rushed out of the room to try and stall Gina. Katherine walked out trying to zip up the back by herself. Chris quickly stood up and helped her. "Are you going to tell her?" He asked curiously.

She turned around to face him. "No, I've been lying to her for so long. How do you think she'll take it when she finds everything out?' Chris tilted his head slightly to the side. "I take it you're not even going to invite her to your own wedding." Katherine sighed and nodded yes. "I should get going before Gina gets up here." She kissed him before walking out of the room. He had something really important to say but it would take too long to explain. It'd have to wait.

Katherine walked down the stairs and saw her friend in the living room. Gina looked a little uncomfortable. She's never like anything too out of the ordinary and this was definitely way out of her comfort zone. "Hey, you're here early." She said and sat down to put on her shoes. "I wanted to know how that date went last night." Katherine had to think of something. "Why don't we talk about that over breakfast?" Gina stood up quickly. She was too eager to get out of the house as fast as possible. "Good idea. I'm hungry."

I've been watching the Necessary Evil music video over and over and I'm slowly coming up with a story. I really want to write it but what i want to include in it is really out of my comfort zone...however, i might try and to give it a go. Would anyone be interested in reading it?
