"Katherine? What's going on? Are you ok?" Chris asked worried. Her mother was listening in. He told her that they got into an argument and wanted advice. "I can't explain but I'm so sorry. I should have let you explained who Abigail was because then I wouldn't be tied up in your unfinished deal." She hiccuped and nearly threw up from the taste of too much alcohol.
"Fuck. Please tell me your ok. He hasn't hurt you, has he?" Chris asked tensing up. Her mother looked at Chris angrily. "No. At least not that I know of." Katherine looked at Gina then the man. Gina looked terrified and the man looked unhappy. "Let me talk to that motherfucker." Chris said his voice getting distorted from rage.
Katherine held out the phone to the man. "He wants to talk to you." The man hesitantly took the phone and pressing the speaker button. "Hello? How'd you know about this?" He asked. "Listen closely you little shit. You hurt those two girls in anyway way and I'll give something far fucking worse than taking your soul tonight. Understand?" Chris seethed with rage.
The man froze from fear. "Do I make myself clear, damn it?" Chris clenched his free hand into a fist. "C-crystal." The man stuttered. "Good. I'll see you tonight then." Chris then thought of an idea. He didn't care about the consequences as long as the two were safe. "Before we finish the deal, I want you to do something for me." The man gulped nervously. "Make a black salt ring around the ladies and a few drops of your blood on the line. Got it?" Chris asked.
Katherine and Gina looked at each other puzzled. Katherine had never seen or heard him something like that before. The man just hummed in agreement. "Good. I'll see you tonight." He said before hanging up. Chris slammed the phone down on the desk nearly breaking it to pieces. Katherine's mother looked at him.
"What's going on with my daughter?" Her mother said worried. "Gina and her somehow got mixed into the deal I was suppose to settle tonight." Chris said sitting back into his chair. "What's going to happen to them?" She asked sitting straight up.
Chris exhaled nervously. "He's supposed to kill one of them." Katherine's mother looked horrified. "So you're going to stand back and watch?" She yelled angrily. "No unless he does what I just said." Chris snapped back. "I so fucking badly wish I could go there right now and murder him but I can't." Chris growled angrily. "My punishment would be execution that would actually work." He clenched his teeth angrily.
Katherine's mother waved a pointed finger at him. "I swear Christopher, if anything happens to one or both of them, I will drown you in holy water! Do you understand?" Her mother screamed at him. He didn't look scared by the threat. "Trust me. You'll feel better if he follows through with breaking the deal." He said calmly.
Her mother looked at him still angry but now curious. "How's he going to do that and what's so better about it?" Chris looked sorrowfully. "He's breaking the deal by putting a protective ring around the girls. Traditionally, you'd use white but because it's darker magick, it has to be black." Chris nervously bit one of his lip piercing. He hoped to any holy and unholy deity that that man followed through with his order.
"He's unknowingly but willingly shedding his own blood to stop the deal. After that, I'm just going to kill him in the most painful way." He looked at her and continued bitting his piercing. "Well, that does make me feel better." Her mother said honestly. Chris stood up from his seat. "After that, I have to go to hell. I'll have a trial for breaking the deal too."
Katherine's mother looked up at him. "When will you be back?" She asked curiously, not really upset with him anymore. "I don't know. If I'm guilty, maybe never." Chris shakily tightened his tie. Katherine's mother opened her mouth to say something but he was already making his way toward the door. "I need to get ready and be there to make sure they're alright." He opened the door and slammed it behind him.
