The small things

Kyungsoo POV

An hour later the boys ended up leaving and I once again left alone in the house with Adam.

"Okay Mr. D.O Adam Winter. It's time for you to start walking. Because you're not being lazy like your Umma." I said and he looked at me with a strange look on his face.

"Come on." I grabbed both of his small hands and I stood him up. "We're going to the Living room so if you fall you don't hurt yourself."

He back up out of the kitchen into the living room. He waddled around with me smiling and giggling whenever I bumped into the sofa of the wall.

"Okay. Now on your own." I sat him down on the floor and he watched me with curious eyes as I folded blankets and lay them across the carpet floor for extra safety.

"We're going to Hawaii so you better impress your uncle with your walking skills. Okay?"

He stares at me like I was crazy.

I laughed at how cute he was like a lost puppy. I softly pinched his cheeks and I stood him up again. "Okay ready?"

I scooted back a little bit but just enough for him to reach me with just four steps. He lifted his foot up and then took one step towards me.

Then another two more wobbly steps followed. I reached my arms out in case he fell forwards. "Almost there." I cheered.

He smiled and he took one more step. I pulled him into a small soft hug, "You did it!" I smiled once I stood up and twirled around in a circle making him giggle.

"Good job." I heard. I turned around and saw April leaned up against the walkway frame with a cute smile across her face.

"Sorry I took so long." She said once she walked up to me wrapping her arms around me in a tight hug.

"It's fine." I smiled happy to see my wife home safe and sound. I kissed her and I heard Adam whine.

"What happened baby boy?" April cooed. "Want kisses too?" I laughed at how cute her baby talk was.

He leaned towards April with open arms. I handed him to her and he immediately hugged her. I saw how he pressed his small lips against her cheek.

"Kiss to Appa too." She smiled turning towards me. I leaned down to his height and he pressed his lips against my cheek. He giggled once I tickled his stomach.

"Dinner time." I said once I walked back into the kitchen.

I made kimchi spaghetti with tomato sauce and Lemonade on the side. "Yummy right Adam?" April asked looking too Adam who was next to me in his high chair.

He smiled and looked at his small plastic Pororo bowl.

"Kamsamida." April smiled.

"Kamsamida." I smiled and Adam mumbled,
"Kamsaida."

Making us smile at our cute and healthy baby boy.

After eating and washing up Adam feel asleep in Aprils arms when we all cuddled up on the couch.

"We're leaving on Tuesday. So in three days."

"For how long?" I asked putting an arm around April pulling her closer to me.

"A week." She sighed.

"Is Evelyn and Daniel getting married in Hawaii?"

She nodded once she yawned. "And she got her dress today that's why I was in the bridal shop."

"Is it pretty?"

"Very pretty. Were you that worried that Kai called me?"

I nodded kissing her soft cheek breathing in her new Cherry blossom perfume. "Yea. I was. I thought you were leaving me." I laughed.

"I'm not letting you go Kyungsoo." She said grabbing my hand lacing our fingers together. We both look at our wedding rings that shined the light from the T.V.

"I love you." I whispered in her ear.

"I love you too."
