Heart beat at Ease

April POV

"Kyungsoo. What's wrong?" Suho asked. "You seem tired."

We were sitting in the practice room, waiting for the rest of the members so we can start practice.

"I haven't been sleeping well." I sighed.

"Isn't April at home?"

April. It's almost been a month since I've seen her and Adam.

"No."

"Why not? I haven't seen her around here. What happened?" He asked worry soon filled his eyes.

"We're on a break."

"A what? A break?"

I only nodded, The boys soon came in and we started practice. I really didn't want to talk to anyone.

"Kyungsoo can you bring Adam next practice?" Chanyeol asked.

"No." I said, "I can't."

I left the room going back home, being welcome with silence and loneliness. I really want April to come home, but I'm worried that she won't forgive me.

I've been feeling really sick lately, really bad cough attacks hurt my throat and some days I can't sleep. It feels like everything is going wrong, it feels like I'm dying.

April POV

"Adam come on, please go to sleep." I yawned patting his back. Adam hasn't been feeling well recently, and it's starting to scare me.

"Appa!" Adam cries as I try to calm down his cries. He had a fever last night, and he hasn't eaten anything all day.

I feel like crying myself, even with Adam I feel really lonely and I'm always wondering if Kyungsoo is feeling any better himself.

I called the doctor and he said that Kyungsoo hasn't come in for his check-up, and Kyungsoo's really worrying me.

I'm going home today, even if we are still on our break I told the landowner that I was moving out today.

I didn't have much anyways, I said goodbye to the Elderly woman next door and she finally told me her name.

Arisu was her name which I thought was very pretty. Leaving the empty apartment with a sleeping Adam I got into the car going home.

It was 8 p.m. The night was still pretty young, and the streets were all lit up creating a peaceful feeling.

In less than 10 minutes I was pulling up into the drive way, everything looked the same nothing really looked different.

Carefully unbuckling Adam out of his car seat, and walking up to the front door I heard a faint cough coming from inside. I didn't alarm me, until I heard violent coughing.

I pushing the door open and walked in, the house was the exact way it was before I left. I walked into the living room putting Adam down on the couch.

I scanned the room and Kyungsoo was no where to be seen but his coughs filled the house. My heart started to beat faster once I walked into the kitchen, and it's started to jump out of my chest painfully when I saw Kyungsoo on the floor clutching his stomach.

"Kyungsoo!" I felt my eyes start to sting, just by seeing him like this. He has bags underneath his eyes, he's skinner and paler which scared me.

I ran up to his side, sitting him up from his slouched position and pat his back. He was cough violently and it was worrying me.

I grabbed a cup and filled it up with water, running up to his side I brought it up to his lips. He drank the water and he calmed down.

"April-" I put the cup down and hugged him tightly. Not wanting to ever let him go again, this last month was like hell to me.

His arms wrapped around my waist bringing us closer, I didn't feel lonely and sad anymore. Knowing that Kyungsoo is okay, I felt my heart beat at ease.

"I missed you beautiful." Kyungsoo said into my shoulder. His breath tickled my neck making me feel all fuzzy inside.

"I missed you too handsome."
