Adam

Kyungsoo POV

"Hello?" I sighed at the unknown number that showed up on my phone. Probably another telemarketer trying to sell me their product or service.

"K-Kyungsoo?" April answered in a shaky voice like she just finished crying or was at the moment which surprised me.

"April? What's wrong?" I asked grabbing the Chinese half of the twin towers and the panda who was falling asleep.

"Come home please.."

Earlier that day..

April POV

"Off to the grocery store!" I sang as I zipped up Adam's blue winter jacket. The wind was now blustery as the day went on making it colder than usual.

I closed the door behind me, with Adam in arms. Pulling his hoodie up to cover him up from the cold strong winds that blew.

Locking him secure into his car seat and closing the door we soon arrived to the grocery store.

The doors slide open and I held onto Adam's hand once we were inside. The store was busier than usual probably because it's 3 in the afternoon and this when the kids leave school and parents go home from a long day at work.

"Umma!" Adam smiles pointing up towards a poster with a pororo and friends advertisement. Showing their product it's really colorful to attract children probably and I guess it worked.

I let his hand go for a second to grab a cart, but once I turned around he was gone.

"Adam? Adam!" I said once I saw him wobbling over to the stand that held the pororo gummys.

I picked him up and I slid him into the cart "Now don't do that again, okay? You scared umma." I smiled rubbing his heated cheeks, a pout was on his cute lips. I kissed his forehead making him smile.

We got everything we needed and some candy. "Umma!" Adam laughed once I started to eat the colorful gummy butterflies we bought.

"Okay." I smiled popping one into his mouth happy once I saw him run in front of me once I pulled him out of the cart.

"Adam.. wait for umma." And he did patiently waiting at the door for me with the bags of groceries.

"H-Help umma?" I asks cutely I handed him the lightest thing, which was the box of candy and he happily helped me.

I grabbed his hand once we were back out in the cold wind. We loaded the back of the car with the bags filled with food I fastened him into his car seat as he happily ate his candies.

We were home in ten minutes and I'm so glad Kyungsoo turned on the heat. It's so cold outside, and it's almost Adam's birthday.

I'll see if the boys can come over to cut a cake  with us to celebrate at least something small. "Umma!?" I heard making me throw down the bags of groceries into the floor.

Sprinting into the living room onto to find Adam sitting on the ground with tear stained cheeks and a pout. He dropped his bag of candy I couldn't help but smile at how cute he was.

"It's okay." I said sitting down next to me picking up the small gummys that fell from his hand. "Adam, ready?"

He stared at me with confused and sad eyes but I got his full attention. I threw the small candy into the air and caught it with my mouth.

Mission accomplished when I saw him clapping his hands and a huge smile. "A-Again!"

And I did it once again to satisfy him, I picked him up and I sat him in the kitchen so I could have him in my sight.
