Kyungsoo POV

I cradled the crying Adam looking out the window at the pouring rain hitting the glass.

"I know she'll be back soon don't worry." I shushed. He started to cry harder and I started to get worried.

I called her three times and she hasn't answered. I finally got Adam to sleep once the rain slowed down. I went into our room and I put him on the bed wrapping him in a blanket.

She told me she was going on a walk and she hasn't been back for hours. I should go look for her it is 8 pm and it's dark out.

I ran over to Cara's house and I asked her if she could look after Adam she agreed and I walked down the sidewalk towards the beach and the amusement park.

I went to the amusement park looking for her calling out her name every minute. I'm starting to panic what if Veronica got her again.

I ran towards the beach and I took off my shoes. I ran around the sand only to find my breath leaving me panting.

I walked towards the rocks and I saw a shadow of a person from afar. The moons light reflecting off the calm water. I ran towards the person carefully going around the rock but I saw it was a couple stargazing.

"Fuck.." I cursed running back to the house and barging in hoping to see my wife holding Adam. But The girls were asleep on the couch and Cara holding Adam.

"Did April tell you where she was going?" I asked Cara.

"No. Why? Is something wrong?"

"She's been missing for the past hours and.. I'm getting worried." I breathed feeling tears soak my eyes.

She thought for a little bit. "Theirs a old dirt path around the side of the house into the back forest follow it and it'll lead you to small garden she might be there. Come back if you can't find her."

I nodded and ran out. Going around the house following the path until the trees started to grow. I stared at the dark path crickets and bugs started to chirp.

Jumping at birds flying out from the tree tops startling me. I took a deep breath keeping April in my mind to help me gather up courage.

For April.

I walked into the woods holding my breath at the sounds that surrounded me. I saw a dim light coming in view and I started to run nearly tripping over rocks and tree roots.

I pushed some green leaves out the way and I saw a patch of white daisies come into sight. A stone and April were at the other end of flower patch.

She was kneeling in front of the stone with a bundle of purple flowers in her hands. Her hoodie was up but I knew it was her.

I carefully walked into the flower patch and stood behind her.

"I miss you." I heard.

"I wanna see you again." She said laying the flowers in front of the stone. I finally noticed what the stone was.

Kim Nana
May 12th, 1927 - May 11th, 2006

"Happy Birthday."

I kneeled down next to her but she didn't notice me yet. "Kyungsoo.." I heard her whined before jumping on me and hugging me tightly. I felt her tears fall onto my shoulder and how her chest heaved with hiccups.

"She's in a better place." I patted her back and I heard her crying become a little harder. I can't imagine how much pain must be feeling. Losing a second mother must be hard and for Aprils mother.

After a good ten minutes of both us crying she started calm down. "Mianhae.." She sighed sitting up from her slouched position.

"For what?"

"For telling you where I was going."

"It's fine." I hugged her holding her for a minute. "Can you tell me a little bit about your grandmother?" I asked.

She nodded and I smiled.

"Well. Nana grew up in Korea but moved her to Hawaii when she was 13. She attended high school here and graduated college and the way she met grandpa was.. Weird."

"It wasn't a slap was it?" I asked making her giggle and shake her head no.

"Her college wanted to get rid of her music program so she attended a protest against the school board of education. There were so many people hat the police had to break up the protest." She explained.

Nana sounds so interesting. I wanna meet her so badly but I can't.

"So she started to run away from the cops when she saw my grandpa on his motorcycle outside of the local diner. Which is down the street." She pointed.

I nodded smiling at how she looked so happy talking about Nana.

"So.. She hopped onto the motorcycle and told my grandfather to drive. He hesitated at first but later he at actually started to drive. And the next day my grandpa told her out for a date. And that's the story." She finished smiling happily.

"How cute." I smiled.

"Kyungsoo I miss her." She sighed.

"I know you do. You'll see her again someday." I said playing with her hair.

"We're you out here in the rain?!"
