Invitation

Kyungsoo POV

"I'm going." I yawned going down the stairs. It's 5 in the morning who could possibly be up and pounding on the door at this time?

Unlocking the door a man in a black and white classic tuxedo, Looks like he's in his late forties.

"Mrs.Winter?" He questions in an elegant manner which really threw me off, are the boys pulling a prank on me?

"I'm her Husband."

"April Winters?"

"Yea..?" I said scared that I'm giving away private information to a random fancy stranger that showed up at my front door.

"Well, please give her this letter. It's a formal invitation to the Lee's Annual Family dinner. That Anna is patiently waiting. Good day sir." He walked away leaving me dumfounded with a white envelope in my hands.

Closing the door, Curiosity was taking over and I soon found myself cutting the Envelope open. April wasn't home since she had to leave for a Photoshoot. I don't think she'd mind, but what if this is just for her to see or something?

I shouldn't be doing this. Putting down the scissors, I grabbed the phone quickly Calling April so I can get her permission.

"What letter?"

"It's from.. Mr. And Mrs.Lee." I read, "The Lee's annual Dinner."

I heard her groan on the other side of the line with baffled me, Who are these people?

"It's my aunt and uncle they hold a dinner party for all their siblings, and their families. I usually don't go but I guess they want me to come." She sighs.

"You don't like them?" Now I'm just being nosy.

"No, They're from my moms side of the family and since they have so much money they practically disowned her when she got married to a 'Poor man.' And we've all hated their guts." She explains.

"Oh." Was all I could say She soon ended the call saying that she had to get back to work and that she'll be home in an hour.

So much information to process was hurting my brain and It's way to early to be thinking this hard. It's almost 6 a.m.

Going upstairs to find a sleeping Adam tangled up into the sheets, peacefully dreaming away. Smiling at how cute and quiet he is, I closed the door and went back to bed.

April POV

"Umma!" I smiled sighing of relief when she finally picked up my fourth call.

"How are you sweetie?"

"I'm good Umma, I wanted to ask you something." I said and silence filled the line which confused me. "Umma?"

"Ah- Yes! I remember!" She said confusing me even more, "Your Aunt Anna is inviting you to their Dinner Party."

"Why me?"

"She wants everyone there, and every since she heard you got married and had Adam she wanted to meet Kyungsoo and Adam."

"Oh." I said mentally groaning, I mean Aunt Anna isn't that bad but Uncle Franklin and the rest are just unbearable. "Are you going?"

"Yes, Everyone is. Also Lani going to be here."

"Really!?"

Later that day.

Rachel POV

"The letter has been sent." Richardson said as he walked up to me.

Perfect, The deed is done. All I have to do is wait.

"Rachel!" Marco smiled as he walked into the dining hall. "Did you invite April?"

"Yes I did." I smiled and he smiled in return. "Now we just have to wait." I can't wait to meet them, and I'll just work my magic. And everything will go as planned.

"How's Cara's husband?" Byron asked. "Still fucking around with him?"

"Maybe."

"You know mom won't like this." He added, "If you do this, William's gonna do something."

"She don't need to know. And William's back?" I asked curiosity filling my mind.

"Yea, he's arrived 8 months ago." Byron sighed, "Richard get me a Chamomile Tea." He commands making Richardson bow and scurry out to the kitchen.

"Well he won't notice." I smiled earning a smile from Marco but Byron just stood there looking stupid.

"Yah!" I yelled grabbing his attention. "You don't believe me?" I pouted making his eyes fly open.

"O-Of course I believe you."

"Good."
