Surprise

April POV

"Kami-Kamisaminida.." Adam mumbles as he puts the spoonful of Soup into his mouth. A happy smile soon appears lighten up the room.

"Good?" I ask and he nods as he continues to eat his dinner. We decided to eat dinner in the Living room since Kyungsoo's still sick and he's too cold to eat in the kitchen.

"C'mon Kyungsoo. You should eat something." I said cuddling up next to him, Kyungsoo's throat isn't doing so well. The doctor ordered him to say home for a week or two until he fully recovered.

But since his throat hurts, it hurts to swallow as well. I make him oatmeal with honey but he still won't eat.

I grabbed the bowl careful not to spill it; Taking the spoon the stirred the oatmeal letting some of the trapped heat escape.

Lifting a spoonful I blew on it, letting it cool down enough so it won't burn him. Bringing it up to his lips He stared at the spoon before taking it into his mouth.

He savored it for a second before swallowing I saw his face discomfort for a minute but he kept eating until the whole bowl was empty.

"Do you feel better?"

He nodded and went back to watching T.V wrapped in his 2 wool blankets.

"Umma!" Adam said grabbing my shirt and He tugging it to grab my attention. "Finish!" He smiled showing me with empty Pororo bowl and matching spoon.

"Good job Adam." I smiled pinching his cheek, I grabbed a napkin and I wiped his face clean of any leftovers that didn't make it into his mouth.

He helped me with washing the dishes and putting them back into their proper place. "Umma.. Candy?" He asks with a cute little pout and big eyes.

"Okay." I sighed grabbing the bag of fruit gummy I bought last week and he's been eyeing them all week.

I grabbed a small handful and he cupped both of his tiny hands smiling as I gave him the small candies.

"Thank you Umma!" He smiles and runs into the living room to sit next to Kyungsoo who has fallen asleep for the 10th time today.

Finishing up the Dishes I heard knocks coming from the front door that made me and Adam sprint towards the door.

"Who Umma?" He asks as his arms wrap around my leg to hide between them. I unlocked the door opening it a gust of cold air rush into the house.

"E-Excuse me?" I said getting kinda nervous from the mysterious person that stood in front of me.

A black haired man with black clothing, a gray scarf wrapped around his neck covering his mouth and nose.

His hand went up and he pulled the scarf off making my eyes blow open twice their size.

"Bryan? What are you doing here?" I said pulling him into the house. I unzipped his jacket and pulled it off for him. I fixed his hair that was messy from the blowing wind, and the cold.

"Sorry for not telling you beforehand." He said looking down with sad eyes and a frown. "But I couldn't stay there anymore."

"Where? In America?"

He nods and smiles once he sees Adam.
