Suspicions

April POV

"Falling in Love, Falling in Love. Good!" Nicholas clapped. "Okay. That's all for today, rest up, I'll see you tomorrow."

I grabbed my bag and I said goodnight to the girls before running out towards the garage. Tonight is one of the few nights I get to go house before midnight.

I don't see Kyungsoo or Adam as often as I use too. I'm not use to it, I feel like Adams growing up to fast and he's leaving me behind.  But I guess that's what I get for being tricked into this business.

Quickly getting out of the car locking it, I noticed that the lights were on and the curtains weren't closed yet. Kyungsoo would always the close the curtains before he went to bed.

Are they still awake?

It looks like it. Unlocking the door walking inside the quiet house I kicked off my shoes, putting my bag down. I walked up to the doorframe, looking at the two cuties who we're busy looking at pictures.

"Umma." Kyungsoo pointed.

I quietly walked up behind the two and peeked at what they were looking at. The pictures made me blush because they were our wedding photos.

"Appa." Adam smiled looking up to Kyungsoo and Spotting me. He didn't say anything he just stood up and walked over to me Kyungsoo following Adams steps with his eyes.

Adam hugging my leg right making me smile. I picked him up and hugged him tight. He hugged my neck, and snuggled up against my neck.

"Hi handsome." I smiled.

Kyungsoo stood up and hugged me, it's been a week since I last saw them. I felt like I was going to die if I didn't see them soon. I finally felt happy with these two, not that I was before but it's a different happy.

4 months later.

"April?"

"Yes?"

"Do you have time to come over today?"

My mom has been acting pretty strange, so has Cara and William. It's like they're hiding something.

"Yeah I have time."

Kyungsoo has a doctors appointment today so I'll take Adam with me after practice. But that has been worrying me, is there something I need to know?

Practice was done for the day, going home I took a shower and told Kyungsoo I was going over to my Moms.

"Don't be late." I repeated, Kyungsoo was so slow today for some reason. He's acting lazy and he looks tired.

"Kyungsoo." I sighed as the sheepish Kyungsoo walked over to me. I placed my hand underneath his bang pressed up against his forehead.

His forehead was warm, a little to warm for my liking. I put my hand on his neck and chest feeling the warm skin on my palm.

"Kyungsoo I think you have a fever."

"I'm tired." He whined hugging me, leaning up against me. I wrapped my arms around him holding him up.

"Kyungsoo. Go to the check up, they'll give you medicine." I said rocking the tired Kyungsoo. "Do you want me to drop you off?"

He nodded, and he stood up straight.

"April I haven't been sleeping well every since you started leaving." He said with hooded eyes.

"You haven't?" I asked, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't wanna distract you from your practices." He sighed looking down at me with sad eyes.

"Kyungsoo." I hugged him, I could see he isn't doing so well. He seems gloomy and sad it's not normal to see him like this.

It's kinda of worrying me.

I dropped off Kyungsoo at the hospital and I headed to my moms place. She was sitting on the porch since the house has a long front porch where the two rocking chairs and the hammock is.

This is the house we moved in after I came from Hawaii. The house is somewhat big but it has a Simple style which I fell in love with.

It's not like the other houses in Korea, the neighborhood has an old colonial style not much activity. Since Seoul is about an hour away.

I got out of the car, and got Adam out of his car seat. Locking the car I walked up the concrete steps which were chipping due to its age.

"Hi umma." I smiled holding a sleeping Adam.

"Hi April." She smiled back standing up to kiss my forehead, and looked at the sleeping Adam. "Sit down." She smiled and I did as told.

Hugging Adam, I held him close as my mom started up a conversation.

"Well, since I don't want to take up a lot of time I'll just get straight to the point." She sighed. "The company is moving to America."

"America? I thought up to jeju?"

The family company Cara started, was going through some trouble so they're moving their headquarters. Cara told me they're just moving to Jeju but I guess there was a change in plans.

"Yes, but they thought America was a better location."

"And you're moving to America." I finished.

"Yes." Umma nods sadly. "But I don't want to leave you here alone. I know you have Kyungsoo but-"

"I'll be fine." I smiled. I wanna protest, I want them to stay here in Korea. But I know their work is important, like mine is to me. "Just come and visit okay?"

I told my mother I had to leave because Kyungsoo was at the doctors but I got a call from his doctor when I was on the way there.
"Miss D.O?"

"Yes?"

"Can you please come in, I want to speak with you."

That worries me, is there something wrong with Kyungsoo's health? I soon was going up the stairs towards the office, with a drowsy Adam in my arms.

"Appa?" Adam asked while rubbing his eyes with his small hands.

"Appa at the doctors." I smiled and kissed his cheek as I pushed the door open.

Kyungsoo was sitting on the examining table staring down at his hands. He didn't notice me which was weird.

"Miss D.O. When did you start working for SM?"  The doctor asks.

"Around 6 months."

"You've been leaving early?"

I nodded.

"Now I have a suspicion that.. D.O might be suffering from stress and depression."
