You get discharged and you're still not the same. But in this case, it's not a bad thing. You feel different. After your major mental break down and emotional trauma, you feel stronger. You now feel like you're invincible. Dan gets a taxi and the grumpy old man made a big fuss about how he didn't know where our flat was. You sit with Dan in the back and just lay your head on his shoulder. After all this you're awfully tiered.
"Dan?" You ask out of nowhere.
"Yes princess?"
"What happens next? I don't have a job. I barely have a flat going. I can't live off my parents money forever."
He stays quiet for a second. Then you see his face light up.
"You could become a YouTube!" He exclaims.
What? Is Dan Howell insane?
"Dan, I can't talk I front of 10 people."
"See (Y/N), that's the beauty of YouTube. You sit down in front of a camera and do your thing. Nobody is watching you directly."
You ponder it for a bit. Maybe his could happen. Maybe You (Y/N) (Y/L/N) could become a Youtuber.
"I'll give it a try." You state.
The rest of the drive home was Dan telling you how YouTube works. The lighting, the editing, the uploading, the money. It's really confusing but you have Dan and Phill help you.
You return home and Dan gives you lights and a camera.
"Take these and film a video. Once you have a few videos Phil and I can bring you on our channels and boost you up!" He explains with happiness in his voice.
"Am I really doing this?" I say.
"Yes you are now, go!"
You go back to your flat and close the door. You head up to your bedroom. Phil was out with (Y/F/N) so the flat was yours. You place the tripod In front of your bed and arrange the lights so you have a rather natural lighting.
You turn on the camera and start your video.
"Hey there citizens of the Internet! Welcome to my channel (insert YouTube name)! I was told by Dan Howell to give this a shot. I just moved to London a few weeks ago with my best friend (Y/F/N). This channel will consist of me trying to do what I love. DIY, covers of different bands, makeup and maybe some gaming. Thanks guys for scooting across my channel! See you soon!"
That was your first video. You turn off the camera and the lights. That was fun. You open your MacBook and plug in the camera. You see that Dan recently recorded a video. That's odd. He hasn't mentioned recording a video. You open it and it's Dan on his bed with a black shirt and hobbit hair.
"Hello, whoever comes across this, I'm sorry in advance."
Oh my God. You definitely weren't supposed to come across this.
He pulls out a guitar and starts strumming. Then he starts singing.
"The world is a lonely place my dear. With more cities and towns than I care to count. When you came to this one I never thought that I'd ever fall in love again.
Please please never go my love.
Please stay forever my love.
What you're doing to me is driving me crazy
But if you go I'll never be the same.
I could set the world on fire but it will never burn because your eyes like water will wash the flames away. Please my love never leave my side. "
He turns off the camera. And you stay here in awe. You didn't know Dan could actually Winn. Like he pretends in his videos and never tries. But there he did. He gave it his all. Who was it for? You scroll out of the video and find yours. You copy it into YouTube and then uploaded it.
Then you realise that you really wanted to do well. You wanted this to work. You wanted to be just like Dan and Phil. *ding!* your Twitter goes off.
