There Are Worse Things I Could Do

Chapter 52: HOLY LLAMA VIDCON

  The bad was rattling when you woke up. There was a 6'3 man child jumping up and down on the bed like a complete douche.

"Get up (Y/N) we have to leave soon."

Dan stops bouncing and yanks the duvet off of you. Your skin was exposed to the icebox that is considered your room.

"Five more minutes" you moan.

"Nope. Get up love. I laid out an outfit for you."

You open your eyes and see Dan already ready. There was one thing he forgot to do. Straighten his hair. You decide not to say anything as payback for waking you up.

You drag yourself out of bed and see the outfit Dan put out for you. Navy blue skinny jeans with a white Pokemon shirt. You quickly put it on, not bothering to leave the room. It's not like Dan hasn't seen you naked. Then thoughts about last night flood your thought process. How is VidCon going to be with Dan and Phil now? How are they going to meet and greets together? You shake it off. You need to think about your subscribers and your channel.

You pull out your phone and see that (Y/F/N) never replied. She probably wants to have some time to her self right now. You can respect that.

Dan comes up behind you and hugs you.

"Don't let my fans freak out because I'm actually straight. Don't let them treat you like shit. They were so convinced I was secretly dating Phil. They may be mean. This is your warning." Dan says placing a kiss on your cheek.

You nod and grab got bag from the corner. The same bag you used when you came here. Dan says he is going to get his bags. You sit on your bed and play with our suitcases handle. You're nervous as hell. What if your fans don't like you in person. What if no one comes to meet you at all.

STOP.

Stop thinking like that. You were snapped back to reality when you hear Dan and Phil yelling. It sounded bad so you grab your stuff and head downstairs. After tossing all your stuff by the door you open it and see that Dan yelling for Phil. Not at him.

"Phil I don't hate you. You need to come down. We need to leave." Dan says desperately.

You fully open the sore and Dan turns around. He looked scared. Not angry or annoyed. He looked scared because his best friend for years won't even look at him.

You push past him and into his flat. Phil is sitting in the kitchen with his bags. He looked completely ready to go.

"Phil we need to go come on."

"I can't look at him after yesterday."

"Phil he doesn't hate you. He's worried he's going to lose you. Right now you're not helping with that."

"Ok."

He gets up and takes his bags to the door where Dan is standing. Suddenly Dan pulls Phil into a hug. Phil was shocked at first but losses up and hugged him back.

"I promise I don't hate you Philly. You're my best friend."  Dan says.

Phil smiles

*time skip to you being in a plane.*

"Are you ready for this (Y/N)?" Dan asks.

The flight has just started. Phil was drifting off but you and Dan were wide awake.

"This is a dream come true. Of course I'm ready!" You say.

Dan smiles and takes your hand. You stare out the window and for once you feel at peace. Soon you will be meeting the fans you never knew you'd have.

*time skip again.*

You and Dan just arrived to the hotel. It was surprisingly luxurious. A bed for you and Dan and one for Phil. Two baths and a kitchenette. Tomorrow was your first meet up. After that Dan and Phil have something like a press conference to answer fans questions. The next day you have one of your own. There was so much more to do I between. It was going to be epic.

You and Dan flop onto your bed while Phil takes a shower.

"Prepare for the jet lag to kick in." Dan mutters. "I already have a headache."

"I'm all right for now but when I wake up it will be hell."

You check our phone. The time jump is annoying as hell. It is 3:01am in London but it's 10:01 in Miami. This is hell. 5 hours back in time. You strip down and put on a long shirt. You crawl into bed not even nothing to wait for Dan.

You're at VidCon. You have over 8 million subscribers. Look how far you've come.
