After Olivia is gone Dan pulls you aside. He pulls you into a hallway that you only been down once or twice. You kinda stay facing the wall and shrinking away from Dan. When he reaches the end of the hallway he gently grabs your arm and makes you face him.

"What's going on?" He asks firmly.

You say nothing and look down. You can't bear to look into his eyes.

"Look into my eyes, and tell me what's going on." His tone gets sharper but you know it's because he cares.

You look up and try to match his eyes with yours and you find it rather hard. You keep glancing away.

"I'm-I'm falling back into my old ways." You say. It was below a whisper, barely audible.

Dan's stern eyes softened back to the warm brown orbs you were used to. He pulls you into a warm embrace.

"I won't let you fall (Y/N), I promise."

The way his voice sounded set your heart on fire like gasoline. It was so assuring and you never had someone say it like that before.

He eventually lets go and looks at you. You think of all the people that left because they found out. It was sickening how quick they faded away. There was one that hurt the most.

(This is exactly what happened to me so it's a bit hard to write. It fits right in with the story so I'm gonna add it.)

When you were in year 8 you did a musical at your community Theater. You were a broken child that her mental health could only be filled by the spotlight. In December you went to your fist rehearsal of the theatres production of Guys and Dolls. You ended up meeting a boy. He was the main character. His name was Aidan and his character was named Sky. He was perfection. He was a rich prep school boy but you couldn't tell because he was so awkward and shy. He didn't fit in there. We were all average kids in a Theater that kept us living. You and (Y/F/N) took him in and you guys became best friends. You started to fall in love with him. You guys spent all night texting each other. (Y/F/N) was warning you that he was TOO GOOD for you. You didn't want to listen. Aidan told you everything. You told him everything. It was out of a movie. Then you told him how you were anorexic and rather broken. He said he understood. You asked him a simple question.

"Will you ever leave me?"

He said

"No way. You're too good for that."

But as February rolled around he started drifting away. He didn't talk to you and (Y/F/N) at the rehearsals anymore. The worst part is that he was hanging out with the people who were trying to get you thrown out of the Theater. You knew it was gonna happen. There's no way around it. He was fire. You were gold. No way you can last together. By the show in March he wouldn't even look at you. It was tearing you apart. The one girl who ran the crew of kids that wanted you gone told him that you said you were dating him. That's when he blocked you on all social media. You finally realised it was over. Now you're scared it's going to happen with Dan.

You try to shake the flashback out of your mind. You started crying. Dan's eyes lit up with concern again.

"(Y/N) it's alright to cry. It's alright to fall apart. What's wrong."

You can tell him. He won't leave. He's not Aidan.

"it's just a flashback of what happened in year 8. It made my whole issue worse."

"Can you tell me?"

"Alright. I'll try."

You tell him everything in detail and he had tears in his eyes at the end.

"He really did that?"

"Yes. I'm just scared it will happen again."

"I will never do something like that." He says wiping his eyes. "I couldn't ever."

"O..okay."

"Believe me. I will never leave you."

"I believe you." You say looking him deep in the eyes.

You meant it.
