Chapter 83: Parents Meet New Family Part 2

  You tap your fingers on your knee the whole time home and ignored most of the convocation around you. Mum and dad chatted with Dan and Phil. Kim started to dose off. Those two got along with your parents so well. That took a load off your shoulders.

"So, (Y/N) how was the wedding?" Your mum asked.

"Uh..."

Your mind flashes back to the best day of your life.

"(Y/N) you're the most beautiful women I ever met. Before I met you on that plane I was throwing my life away. Nothing mattered. You saved me. I used to think 'there are worse things I could do than to die.' Then I met you. The worst hing I could do was let you get away. I will love you through sunshine and hurricanes for as long as we live. I love you."

"Dan, my dream in life was to meet you. Ever since I saw your video in 2009 I was in love. But I was nothing but a fangirl. I was broken but when you took care of me I survived. You fixed me. I once thought the worst thing I could do was keep living my broken life. But then I found your videos. I found you. I was so scared you were going to leave me. But now I know you're always here. I'll love you through sunshine and hurricanes for as long as we both shall live. I love you."

"Mum it was my childhood dreams coming true. I never been so happy. It was a beautiful wedding. The colours and the people...it was perfection. When you meet Zoe she can show you pictures."

"Awesome." She says.

You arrive at the flat and your heart starts thumping again. Kim fell asleep so Dan carried her inside.

"Welcome to the flat!" You say while holding open the door for them.

"Wow this place is great!" Your dad exclaims.

"Indeed!" Mum adds.

"Phil can give you a tour. I have to check on Kim."

Speed Walk to your child's room where Dan was sitting on his phone. He looks up and smiles.

"Get your ass in there." You whisper yell.

"I'm good. Phil's a people person not me."

"Please?"

"I'll fuck up."

"No you won't. Please for me?"

He clicks his phone off and stands.

"You're lucky I love you."

"I know."

"Don't be cocky. I'll take back your present."

"Better not be another dog."

"It's not I promise."

He pulls you into a perfect kiss. Short but sweet. James runs into the room and up on Kim's bed. She seemed to like that dog so far. You head back to Phil and your parents with Dan by your side.

"Wow (Y/N)! This place is so nice! I can see they both like your nerdy stuff." Mum says pointing at the silly things around the lounge.

"Yes they do mum."

Dan and Phil laugh and glance at each other.

"How about we have dinner?" Phil suggests

Everyone nods in agreement and heads to the kitchen. You start making dinner. Dan helped you out while Phil entertained your parents. Thank god for Phil. The laughter from the lounge relaxes your body a bit.

After dinner you take your parents to the guest room. They were very tiered from the 9 hour flight. You head down to your room and swan dive onto the bed. Dan comes in does the same.

"I haven't been this tired since.....last week." Dan says.

"Same. Can you go check on Kim? She didn't come down for dinner."

"Ok."

He pulls himself up and out of the room. You decided to go use a bath bomb that you got as part of a wedding gift. It was a pretty rose scented one with pinks and reds as the colours. You turn on the water and toss the bath bomb in.

The scent rises out of the tub and wraps you in ribbons of rose calmness. For the first time today your body fully relaxes. Just for a moment you close your eyes and breathe deeply. You tried to find your centre and calm down. You strip down and lower your body into the tub. The pink water starts at your waist but in a matter of minutes your newer covered in pink water up to your chest. You turn the water off and lean your head back. Your body sinks down and the water comes up to your chin. Finally relaxed.

But you know what happens when you're relaxed and nothing's happening. You start to think. Thinking is dangerous.

You start to realise how easy it would be to kill you self right now. All you had to do was sink down a bit further. You didn't want to..but you could. It could be so easy. Just stay under the water for a few minutes and you would be gone.

You come back to reality and scramble out of the tub. The thoughts were scaring you. Why would you think like that? You're happy. Everyone's happy. Why would you think of something like that? After quickly dying off and getting dressed you sprint to Dan and buried your face in his shirt. He looked very concerned.

"What's wrong baby?"

"When I was in the bathtub the the-the thoughts came back. I was thinking how easy it would be to kill my self. I been so happy why did that happen?"

"I don't know. Just stay with me."

"Gladly.."
