Shut up I know this is a title of a chapter already.
You arrived at the hospital quickly but it felt like an eternity. It felt like the lower region of your body was being ripped to shreds with a knife. Dan mad Zoe were by your side for the whole time. Soon enough you were in a hospital bed surrounded by nurses. Dan and Zoe were pressed against the wall being sure not to be in the way.
Zoe P.O.V They got her in quick. Dan and I followed running. It felt like something out of a movie. Poor Dan looked so bloody scared. I would be just as scared as him if it were mum baby coming a month early.
Dan P.O.V The last thing I wanted was to be stuck against a wall as (Y/N) was being taken care of. The doctors seemed frantic and that didn't help my anxiety at the moment. Zoe glances at me and asks,
"Would you like to go outside for a minute?"
I shake my head. I can't leave her right now. Zoe looks uncertain for a second but then goes back to watching. I physically flinch when they hook her up to the IV.
"She's gonna need an epidural."
That's good right? That means she won't be in pain anymore? I'm probably being the worst husband in the world. The doctors start to leave except two of them. One is at (Y/N)s feet and one is at her side.
"Dan, Zoe you can come over now." The doctor at her side said.
The doctors name tag read Dr.Franta. What. Connor Franta. Obviously this isn't Conner. What's happening.
"She's going to be in labour for a while. Just keep her calm." He says.
Back to your P.O.V The pain was near unbearable. But soon it started to die down a bit. Dan comes over and takes your hand. Zoe stood at your other side and took the other. You were just so scared. It's not that early but still.
"How far along is the baby?" The lady says at your feet.
"8 months." Dan replied.
"She will most likely be 3 pounds and under but she has a 98% chance of survival which is good."
You cry out when you get another contraction. And the doctor looks under the blanket and between your legs.
"It's almost time."
After another 30 minsutes of your screaming and cursing the doctor said
"It's crowning."

You push and push until the doctor says to stop and the baby is out. Dan goes to cut the cord. And the doctor announces,
"It's a girl!"
You have two girls now. You feel very accomplished. And you give your mum credit for giving birth to you because it was painful as fuck. It was like stepping on 20 Legos.
"We're gonna have to run some tests on her before you can see her since she is early."
"All right."
You were too tiered to complain. Honestly you were drained of all energy. Dan comes to lay beside you. You see the ring on his finger and your own and you still feel proud. Especially with the baby that you just had.
