Since you have the best luck in the world, the sky opens up and decided to pour everywhere. The rain was terrible. You were cold, tiered and then you made you're decision. You're going to go home.
You pull out your phone. The screen read 6 missed calls and 20 unread messages. They were from Phil and Dan. No (Y/F/N). You found that odd. You were a bit hurt. There's not a single reason to be. They shouldn't be scared and you shouldn't be getting be getting pity. You did this to yourself.
You rings Dan. He picks up instantly.
"Oh my God (Y/N) where are you."
"I don't know."
"Send your location. I'll come and get you."
You hang up and send your location. The sky rages above you. You're now soaked to the bone. The cold never bothered you anyway. You end up sitting on the wet grass right near the road.
Dan comes within 20 minutes. Once you see him come out of the Uber you run into his arms. You know you'll need to tell him about the incident. But right now all you want is to go home. You both get in and he takes off his jacket.
"It's a bit wet but it's better than what you have on." He says softly.
You look at him but say nothing and take the jumper. You still really have no emotions. In the way back of your mind you are worried that Dan will get offended that you're practically saying nothing.
After the whole mental breakdown thing you can't look at Dan the right way. You can't picture someone so full of joy ever being like that. But he was. He was ,at one point, just as messed up as you are. Even to this day he still isn't whole. That tells you that you never will be either.
The ride home is silent. The only sounds are the rain banging against the roof of the rather nice car. Dan glances at you from time to time. You just lay there in a emotionless blob wrapped up in his black jacket. You start to wonder if he's mad at all. After all you did run away after he told you an incredible secret. That makes you a massive twat.
The uber driver stops in front of the building. Dan pays and thanks him. He rushes you into the building, up the lift, and into his apartment.
"You're staying with me tonight. All right?" He tells you.
You just nod.
He mutters "I'll be right back" and runs to his room. As for you, you stand there wrapped up in a jacket. The silence leaves you to think. You end up thinking about how you're such a horrible person for leaving like that. What a major twat. You fall to your knees and then you're laying face first on Dan and Phil's carpet.
Dignity meter -100
Dan eventually comes back with joggers and a llama shirt. He looks at you but says nothing. He props you up like a doll. Your head hangs down and your body limp. Dan unwraps the jacket front your body and pulls off the north face one you had underneath. He throws those into a pile on the floor. After that he takes off your shirt and puts on his llama one.
Is Dan seriously dressing you up like a doll?
He pulls off your pants and shoes with great difficulty. He puts on his overly large joggers on you. Dan picks you up and brings him to his room and lays you down on his bed.
"(Y/N) please say something. I'm worried about you."
How could he be worried about you when his problems are just as bad? You lay there on his bed in just the position he put you in. Dan comes over and lays down next to you. He moves his MacBook and pulls the duvet up to your neck.
"Are you any warmer?" He asks you.
You nod.
After a few seconds you finally manage to cuddle into Dan. You could see the look of relief on his face when you did.
"I still can't believe you dressed me up like that." You whisper in a croaky voice.
"I love you. I'd do anything to help you." He replies. Not a hint of regret in his expression.
"I love you too Dan"
