There Are Worse Things I Could Do

Chapter 69: The hours before the wedding.

How'd you? That's your wedding dress ^^

Zoe wakes you up at 12:00pm Dan was with Phil for the day. Zoe insisted that he can't see you at all before the wedding at 5:00pm. It was a sunny autumn day. You felt great. Zoe takes you to her flat where you hid the dress.

When you go into her closet you see the dress bag the dress was in. Your fingers brush across the fabric of the bag and you shiver. As you unzip the bag the dress peeks out. It was a great moment. You zip it back up not wanting it to get ruined.

Zoe tells you to sit at the vanity. She said she was going to give you a special type of makeover. Apparently it was almost like "glowing up."

She comes in and pulls a chair up to the vanity beside you. Then she gets to work. Every now and then she asks you if you're panicking yet. Your responses always sound something like

"Not yet." Or "I'm waiting for it."

When she completes her glow up she lets you look in the mirror. The second you see your face your heart starts pounding in your chest. You never thought you would look this beautiful. Zoe blended gold and rose gold eyeshadow, used a perfect set of fake eyelashes, flawless foundation and concealer and a peach lip.

"Zoe...it's perfect!" You say.

"I tried. Now it's 1:00. Time for your hair."

You told her yesterday not to go overboard with the hair since the makeup was going to be so extensive. You didn't want to look like a different person. For once in your life you were happy with who you were.

She brings out clear hair elastics, hair pins and a curling wand. This is when you were starting to panic. All the thoughts of what could go wrong flooding your thought process. Just when you thought you were happy you start to panic. How great.

"(Y/N) I can feel your pulse on your neck. Calm down." Zoe says soothingly.

She continues to curl for an hour but then the pining and tying took another 40 minutes. It was 2:40. You had to get the dress on and get to the venue. that was a 1.5 hour drive. You really started to freak out.

"(Y/N) you need to stop worrying. I know exactly what Dan is doing right now. I planned this. You have nothing to worry about. You look so beautiful. I promise you're going to be perfect."

"Okay. Now can you help me into my dress?"

She nods vigorously and goes to get the dress. When you see her holding the dress your heart beats at the speed of light. She unzips the bag and pulls out the dress. The rose gold accent shimmer in the light. Your dream dress. You strip down and the Zoe helps you into it. Once she zips up the dress you calm down. Zoe changes into her bridesmaid dress. It was the same colour of the accents on your dress. It had a chiffon tie that was sparkly. Simple but perfect. She was the maid of honour. Louise and Tanya were bridesmaids.  They all had the same dress

You got this. You know you love Dan and you know he loves you. There isn't anything that can stop you from getting married today. When you and Zoe get into the Uber you're greeted with Phil. He's dressed in a black tux with a rose gold vest and matching tie. He looks so adorable all dressed up.

"(Y/N) you look beautiful." Phil says.

There's a very tiny voice inside that says "how dare you break up phan?" There's not much you can do about that.

"Thanks Philly!" You say leaving over to give him a hug.

The drive to the venue was very fun. The bright autumn sun made everyone look glamorous. It was a great day. Everyone was joking in the car. As Phil drives along the road he turns up the music. You all jammed along. It was a great time. The hour and a half went by quick. The adrenaline was keeping the worry away as you pulled into the venue.

Zoe got out of the car and started shouting orders. Phil brought you inside the building. It was decked out in shiny classy things. It as all rose gold and white. It was perfect. He got you into your little space behind the closed doors right at the end of the aisle.

"Are you ready (Y/N)?" Phil asks taking your hands.

You nod but then it hits you. Since your parents didn't come to the wedding..there was no one to walk you down the aisle.

"Phil! Who's gonna walk me down the aisle?!"

He had an oh shot look on his face.

"I'll.. I'll go find Zoe."

You paced back and forth I front of the doors you will look like a fool I front of Dan's family and all your friends. But Phil comes running back in. 

"Zoe said for me to do it. Also i have this for you to open before it starts. (Y/F/N) told me to give you this. I knew the whole time..."

You look at Phil and you didn't know what to feel. You can't be angry before this. You wild my be anyway. You just take the box and open it.

It was a white flash drive.

"I'll have to play it when I get home."

You put it back in the box and Phil puts it in his pocket. That's when the music starts.
