There Are Worse Things I Could Do

Chapter 57: The departure

When you wake up in the morning you gather up all your stuff and pack it up. Phil wakes up shortly after you. He looked horrible. His eyes were puffy and red. He looked paler than normal.

"Phil? Are you all right?" You ask.

"No I feel like shit." He mutters.

Phil never swears so you know that he must feel gross. You stand up and go to wake up Dan. You shake his a bit and soon he Dora's wake up.

"What's wrong?" He says in his sexy sleepy voice

"Philly isn't feeling well. He looks gross." You explain

Dan sits up and looks at Phil. Phil looks back with his swollen eyes. You felt so bad for him. He reminds you of a hurt puppy. Dan stands up and places his hand on Phil's forehead.

"Damn Phil your burning up."

"Yeah because I'm so hot." Phil says in a weak voice.

Phil bursts into a fit of coughing and Dan helps him lay back down. Dan stared into space for a second as he thought about what to do.

"We are going to have to go home. Phil can't just stay here while we go out." Dan decided.

"Dan no you and (Y/N) go out I can stay here." Phil says.

"Phil you have a plague. You need to go home." Dan orders.

Phil sighs and pulls the covers over his head. He's in love with Dan so he will listen. You sit down with Phil while Dan books you a flight to London. After a while Dan has been on the phone for 30 minutes and Phil fell back to sleep. You decide to check on Zoe and Joe in the other room.

You lightly knock on the door and you hear Joe's voice on the other side. All you could think is poor Zoe. You couldn't imagine losing Dan. After opening the door you were greeted with a shirtless Joe and no Zoe.

"Where is Zoe?"

"She's been in the shower for 2 hours. I'm not exaggerating on the time either." Joe replies.

You go to their bathroom and knock on the door.

"Zoe? Are you all right in there?"

"I tried to make her come out but I can't go in there." Joe says. "You could though."

"Zoe I'm coming in." You shout.

You turn the knob and cover your eyes. You peak and see Zoe's tiny silhouette against the shower curtain. She looks to be sat down and curled up with he knees under her chin.

"Zoe you need to come out. We are going home." You say rattling the curtain a bit.

"I can't go home, (Y/N). I can't do anything." She says over the sound of the water.

"Zoe you can't stay in the shower forever. Come on out. I'll help you get ready."

After a few moments the water turns off and you pass Zoe a towel. You leave so she can get out. Joe smiles at you as you head back to Dan. You smile at the thought of Joe's abs. You wouldn't ever leave Dan for Joe but his abs are nice.

Dan was already packed up but still on the phone. He covers the microphone and says to you,

"They are having trouble finding us a flight for all of us."

He goes back to talking and Joe comes in to your room.

"What happened to Phil?"

"He has a plague." You reply.

"Poor guy."

You nod in response. After chatting with Joe and Phil, Zoe comes out of her room. She was all packed and she looked a lost as bad as Phil. She didn't put any makeup on and was dressed in some loungers and a New York tee. Her perfect hair was in a messy bun. You very rarely see Zoe like that.

"I got us a flight!!" Dan exclaims.

"When do we have to leave?" Joe asks.

"We have to be there in about 45 minutes." Dan says.

"Let me cover the cost. It's the least I can do for the room and all." Joe says.

"There's no need." Dan replies.

"Nope I'm doing it." Joe says.

"Fine."

Dan gets a uber on its way and you take the keys back down to the front desk. The lady smiles and then says,

"I know it seems crazy that I know who you are but can I get a picture?"

"Of course!"

You take a picture with the lady and she adds

"I'm so sorry to hear about the shooting."

You nod and I've her a small smile. Dan and he others get out of the lift with all the luggage.

"The uber is waiting in the front" he says. Dan takes all your luggage to the Uber. It was a huge caravan. Everyone climbs in and you're on your way to the airport.
