After Christmas your parents leave. It was nice to see them but you wanted your flat to go back to normal. It was New Years Eve and you were packing away Christmas until next year. Dan and Phil took apart the tree. Dan swore more times than Phil has fallen in his life. It took 3 hours to clean up flat.
"Kimberly? Are you staying up till midnight?"
"No, I'm really tiered already there's no way I'd make it."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah."
"All right then."
She heads to her room. Your senses say somethings wrong but for now you shake it off. Dan puts the last storage bin away then flops on the couch.
"Most exercise I done all year."
"That's not saying much." You smirk.
"Rude."
You shoot him a cheeky grin then Phil walks in. He was still in his pjs and had his cute glasses on.
"Hey Phillip." You greet.
"Hey what's good?"
"Never say that again."
"Sorry that I'm trying to be cool."
"That's impossible as long as your my friend." Dan says.
"Ugh."
James flops on and sits in your lap. You stroke his fur and pull out your phone. It was only 11:00 am. 13 hours left of the day.
"Dan can we play just dance?"
"Why? I already did a shit ton of exercise."
"Pretty please!?"
"Fine. But Phil and I will swap out every other round."
"Yay!"
Dan gets up to turn on the wii. You and Phil move the coffee table out of the way. When you and Phil dance together it will be very dangerous.
"What song are we doing?" Dan asks you.
"Toxic!!!!!!" You scream on the top of your lungs.
"Of course."
You strap the wii remote to your wrist and Dan does the same. You were gonna win this if it was the last thin you do. The music starts playing and you start dancing.
"You're not gonna win honey."
"Yes I am!!" You retaliate.
"Over my dead body."
"Phil kill her."
"I'm good!"
"Take that!" You say whacking Dan's wrist with the remote.
"That was assault!!"
"Yep."
You continue to dance until the end of the song. Dan watches the screen in horrid as you score 4 stars and he only scores 3.5.
