For you, the next week was an emotional roller coaster. Sometimes you felt fine like you did the weeks before, but then there were moments when you were cracking. You hid it well from your parents. Like always they were oblivious to your mental health.

Today was Christmas Eve. Dan and Phil decorated the flat to extremes. It literally looked like Christmas threw up everywhere, in a good way. They put the tree up in the lounge days before your parents came. Now there were close to a hundred presents underneath. You felt a warm tingly feeling inside when you saw all the decorations.

You went into the lounge and turned in some festive tunes. 'Mary Did You Know' came on. You started singing along to the smooth voices. Little did you know Kimberly was behind you in the doorway listening. When you turned around to flick on the lights you jumped a bit.

"Hi sweetie! How are you?" You ask.

"I'm fine. Can you keep singing?"

"W-what why?"

"It sounded pretty. Daddy told me you could sing but I was afraid to ask."

"Oh really? Um well I guess I can keep singing."

"Yay!"

She comes in and plops down on the couch. You continue to plug in the lights and other decorations while singing 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.' Kim listened intently while swaying back and forth to the tune. You gestured for her to follow into the kitchen. Dan had put more lights in here than you two and Phil had subscribers combined.

Out of nowhere you were scooped up from behind and spun around. It was the one and only Dan.

"I like it when you sing." He whispers.

"Well I don't like people listening so go away."

"I don't like your sass."

"You married it."

Dan laughs and let's go of you once he does he raids the fridge. You move on and continue to turn things on while softly singing. You decide to ignore the "ooh the eggnog has no alcohol." You better not have to deal with a drunk Dan tonight.

"Through the years We all will be together, If the Fates allow. Hang a shining star upon the highest bough. And have yourself A merry little Christmas now." You sing ever so softly.

"Daddy, mommy has a very pretty voice."

"Yes she does. That's why her singing is being uploaded to YouTube."

"WHAT?!?" You scream.

"Sorry honey the world needs to see that."

You spin around at the speed of light and lunge for Dan's phone which you wished you noticed before. But with Dan being the 6 foot tall giant you couldn't reach.

"Delete it now!" You scream.

"Nope. It was pretty so it needs to be seen."

"Please Dan."

"No."

You stop reaching for it and walked away to your room. The world isn't supposed to see something like that. It sounds horrible and the hate will crush you.

After hiding in Dan's closet for 10 minutes you hear your phone go off. You knew what it was. And you wanted to avoid it.

'danisnotonfire uploaded a video. THE BEST SINGING YOU WILL EVER HEAR!'

No. Nope bag of nope.

You clicked on it and saw the minute long video of you singing. How dare he?! You sounded like a dying goose. The urge to punch him was unreal. You refresh the screen then look at the likes and dislikes. 10,000 likes and 3 dislikes. That's it? The comments we even better. They were so sweet.

You muster up the dignity to get out of Dan's closet and face people again. You hit up the lounge and see Dan with a smug look on his face. You kinda wanted to slap it right off but obviously you didn't. Instead you put on the exact song that you sang and started slow dancing with Dan. A sweet quite Christmas Eve.
