"I can't believe you wore your scrubs to class."
"Well shit I had to go to work today too."Troiian sipped from her straw."I don't have time to be playin' with these cosmetology classes."
Afta' classes Troiian and I decided we'd head out together for lunch. At first we thought we'd just get some McDonald's or somethin' but ultimately we ended up at a table in AppleBees.
I chuckled and shook my head."You're crazy. What made you even wanna get into cosmetology afta' spendin' all that time in school for nursin'?"
"Well I always had a eye for make-up when I was young but growin' up my motha' talked me out of it bein' my first profession so instead I headed in the medical direction."She explained."After becoming financially stable I figured I'd just go back to take a few classes."
"Wish I had done somethin' like that but I honestly can't see myself doin' anything else but make-up."
"It's never too late to really get into school ya' know. Just in case you wanna try out somethin' new."
"I know but I can't. Not right na' at least. I have too much goin' on and so much I'm still tryna figure out."
She nodded."I understand. Not to mention you lookin' after your daughter."
