"So nobody's gonna tell him?"Troiian asked.

"I wanna tell him."Howard said.

"We can't."I shook my head."Not right now. It's not the time nor the place. Just leave her alone and hopefully she doesn't say or do nothin' slick."

"What are y'all over here whispering about?"MawMaw asked as she stepped on the jet.

"Nothing."We all responded.

She squinted her eyes at us but moved to the back to take a seat. Following after her, Damon and Senoria stepped on the jet. I could hea' Howard and Troiian mumbling to each other and I knew Senoria knew they were talkin' about her.

She didn't even look my way as she passed through to get to a seat and for her sake that was the best thing she could've done. I wasn't in the mood and her being here definitely wasn't helping the situation.

I sighed and avoided eye contact with August as he finally stepped on with Treasure. I heard the door shut behind them before Treasure asked August if she could watch tv.

"Wait till we take off first."He told her, sitting her next to him.

"Hey mama."She waved as she leaned forward to see me.

"Hey."I laughed and waved back."Now sit back while the plane takes off."

We all waited a good ten minutes for the jet to take off and get leveled in the air to leave our seats. August got up to show them around while I stood up front with my grandma.

"You alright?"She took a seat next to me.

I clicked my phone off and sat it down."I'm alright. You?"

She sighed and pushed some of my hair away from my face."It's been a lil lonely being out thea' by myself but..I'm getting used to it."

"Lonely? Really?"I scoffed."I thought you'd be happy to not have us around."

"And why is that?"

I shrugged."You practically raised us, Damon included. I just thought you'd enjoy the break."

"Not really. It's been pretty boring out there."She sighed."Any luck around you? Has life been exciting since you got with the tv man."

"The tv man?"I laughed and shook my head."MawMaw life has been..the same."

"The same?"

"Yup. I mean we raise Treasure, I'm going to work, he's working on stuff..Nothing's changed."

"Nothing's changed huh?"She rose an eyebrow."Sure about that?"

"I'm positive."

"So why are you acting like this then?"

"Actin' like-"

"Like something's wrong."She looked towards the back then at me."Nobodies around so you can say."
