C.30 || Grandma's House

"You want us to come in?"

"Yeah. Why would I want y'all to sit in the car?"He chuckled.

"I don't know."I shrugged.

"Then get out."He got out of the car and shut the door behind himself.

I texted Tugga that we'd be gettin' home a lil later befo' I got myself and Treasure out of August's car.

"Whea' we at?"She looked up at me.

"I really don't know."I shook my head.

She kept her hand in mine but made us catch up to August and grabbed his. He smirked to himself and opened the studio door for all of us.

The lobby was filled with people walkin' around and issuing out various celebrity names and ideas. I pulled Treasure closer to me and held on to her hand tighter.

"You around this all the time?"I questioned.

He nodded slowly."Yeah pretty much."

I shook my head in disbelief just as a tall woman came striding our way.

"August, hi!"She held her arms open for a hug."I almost thought you weren't gonna show up."

"Yeah, my fault."He chuckled."I got held up handling personal issues but I'm hea' now so.."

"Right, of course, that's what really matters."She smiled then turned to Treasure & I."And who are these two beautiful ladies?"

"Hazel."I held my hand out.

"Nice to meet you Hazel. My name is Alexxus and I'm the hostess of MOTD Gossip."She smiled."And who's this cutie you have with you?"

"My name Treasure and he my daddy."She pointed to August befo' going up to him and grabbing his hand.

"Is he?"Alexxus chuckled."Well that's nice to know sweetheart. Is it okay if I take daddy away for a minute?"

"Nope."

I tilted my head."Treasure."

"It's okay."Alexxus laughed.

"Imma be back in a second Treasure."August told her before lookin' to Jennifer."Is thea' anywhere they could wait for me?"

"Yes, um you take a right down this hall here,"She instructed me,"and on the first left you see take it and it should be the second door on the right. It'll say Alsina so you can just go right in."

"Okay. Thank you."I grabbed Treasure's hand again.

She hesitated to let August's hand go but she did and let him walk away with the woman Alexxus. I took the hall that she told me to and waited to get to the next one.

"Treasure you know that was rude right?"

"What I did?"She frowned.
