Chapter 2: Packing
"Sweetie, you need to leave some of your toys," said mom as she entered my room.
She pointed to the suitcase overflowing with my action figures, stuffed toys, toy cars, plastic swords and comic books.
"Why?" I pouted.
She placed her hands on her hips.
"Because you still need to pack clothes," she said rolling her eyes. "Do you really want to be waking around naked in the new neighborhood?"
"Well, we can buy new ones," I suggested as I shrugged.
"No. Come on, I'll help you," she insisted as she sat down on my Star Wars sheeted bed.
The following hour consisted of me screaming and crying while my mom shoved my treasures into a trash bag.
But in the end, we finished.
"Okay, sweetie, we're leaving tomorrow at 5," she announced before shutting my bedroom door.
I groaned.
I don't want to move.
