Chapter 28: To The Party
Ring ring. Ring ring. Ring ring.
"Pick up the phone, Jarrett! I'm busy!" mom yelled.
"Okay ma!" I yelled back.
I ran out of my room to answer the phone.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hey, it's Robin. Is this Jarrett?"
"Uh, yeah."
"You seem uncertain of your answer, stupid."
I let out a chuckle. "Yes, this is Jarrett. What's up, Rob?"
"My mom's driving us to the party. Get ready by 1, okay, stupid?"
I nodded. Then I realized she couldn't see me.
"You're nodding, aren't you?" she said. And, I swear, I heard a laugh.
"Uh... yes?"
"Whatever, stupid." she said. "See ya later. Don't be late."
Then she hung up.
I looked at the wall clock. It was already 12:30. I am not gonna being late. Especially since it's Robin.

knock knock knock
"I'll get it!" I yelled.
I yanked open the door to see Robin in a white lacey top, a little wide at the top, so it rolls off her shoulders with long sleeves then under it was a black tank top and she paired it with black jeans.
"I... uh... l-like your... um... outfit..." I stuttered.
"Hey, eyes up here." she said, giggling.
"I... Shut up." I said, blushing.
"Now come on." she said as she grabbed my arm and dragged me to the car behind her.
We hopped in the car and drove to the party.

"We're here kids." said Mrs. Jackson. "I'll pick you up at 4, okay?"
"Yeah mom. Bye."
Then we got out of the car and walked in the building.
Inside, there were balloons floating everywhere. Then there were a bunch of tables and in front was 10 kiddie tables along with tiny chairs.
"Where do you wanna sit?" I asked Robin.
She held my hand and dragged me in front to one of the small tables.
"Really? Here?" I asked with a frown.
"Yeah, why not?" she said.
"Cause we're 11."
"So?"
"We're too old for it...?" I suggested.
"Oh please." she scoffed. "Why are you so against having fun, Jar Head?"
I laughed. "Fine..."
We sat down on the tiny chairs.
"My butt barely fits." I complained.
She laughed as she rolled her eyes. "Fatass." she joked.
~ a couple minutes later ~
"Alright kids! Who's ready to get this party started?" the host yelled.
The kids cheered.
You might say, But Jarrett, you're a kid too! Why aren't you referring yourself as a kid too?
