Chapter 48: I Take It Back
I went back home, thinking about Robin and what happened these past few days.
I slumped down on my chair.
Then the doorbell rang.
"Get that will you, Jar?" yelled mom from upstairs.
"Okay." I silently said to myself.
I opened the door and saw Harper, the backstabbing bitch, there.
"What do you want?" I growled at her.
She giggled and smiled. "Why the attitude?" she laughed.
"Robin told me that you sto-"
"By the way," Harper interuppted. "remember our deal 3 years ago?"
"Um..." I said, racking my mind with shit I've said.
Harper laughed and smacked my head. "Oh how silly!" she cooed.
"Ah..." I complained as I rubbed my head.
"You promised we'd be together 3 years ago." she said with a smile.
"Uh..."
Shit! I said that?!
"There's no reason why we shouldn't get together..." cooed Harper. "I mean, we're of the right age. And, you and Robin didn't work out. And... we're perfect for each other."
Wait... How does she know things didn't work out between me and Robin?! OMG, stalker alert!
She slowly walked towards me, letting herself in.
I backed away until I hit the wall.
She stared at me seductively.
"But you stole Robin-" I started.
But before I could finish, Harper leaned in and kissed me.
"You know you want me." she breathed out.
"But-"
Then she kissed me again.
I gave up. I kissed her back.
She stuck her tongue down my throat as I stroked her blonde hair.
I moved my hands down to her waist.
She, then, places her hand on top of mine and slowly moves my hand down to her ass.
Perv.
After a while, we broke the kiss.
"That... was... amazing..." panted Harper with a wide grin on her face.
I slightly smiled. "Yeah..." I panted.
"I've always wanted to do that..."
Then Harper stared at me. "So... Prom's coming up..." stated Harper.
"Why? You wanna go with me?" I scoffed as I sat down on the couch.
"Oh my gosh! Are you asking me to prom?!" squealed Harper.
"What?! No, I-"
"Yes! Yes! A million times yes!"
"Wha...?! But... Wha...!"
Bang!
That loud sound immediately attracted me and Harper's attention.
Then... I saw my worst nightmare...
Robin, standing there, tears continuously rolling down her cheeks, as she looked at me with dead eyes looking completely... broken.
She then spun around then slammed the door close.
"I guess we forgot to close the door." said Harper as if nothing just happened.
She ruffled my hair and giggled, "I guess I'll see you at school then Jar Jar!" Then she winked and left.
...
...
...
For then rest of the day... I couldn't forget the look of Robin's face... How the tears ran down her smooth cheeks I once cupped... How her crystal blue eyes stopped twinkling for a minute.
I take it back. I take it all back.
