Chapter 13: Lunch With Her
So lunch time came.
Our teacher told us to go to the canteen for lunch, thus, me going there.
It was so big.
Then I thought, Where am supposed to sit? There's so many tables.
I sat down on the bench at the corner.
Great. I'm that loner.
Then another thought popped into my head. What am I supposed to eat?
Great. I'm that weirdo.
Suddenly, someone sat next to me.
Who would want to talk to me, the loner AND weirdo?
"Hey, Jarrett!" she exclaimed.
"Oh, hi, Robin." I said back.
"Where's your lunch?" asked Robin.
"Oh... Um... I kinda... Uh... ate it..."
She laughed. "Oh!" she giggled. "You must've mistaken your lunch for your snack!"
I turned red. "You're not wrong."
She held my hand and smiled. "Do you wanna share my lunch?"
I smiled and nodded.
She plastered a smirk. Wonder why? I thought.
"On one condition...." she started.
...
"You'll have to catch me first!" she hollered before taking off, holding her sack lunch.
I chuckled.
Classic Robin.
Then I took off after her.
