Chapter 11: Meeting Harper
It wasn't Robin.
Instead, it was a girl (probably in my class) with long blonde hair and dark chocolate eyes.
"Hi! I'm Harper!" she introduced with a bright smile.
"Oh..." I sighed in disappointment. "I'm... uh... Jarrett. With, uh, two r's and two t's."
She frowned.
"Are you okay? You seem disappointed..."
I immediately smiled. "No, I'm sorry. I just thought you were someone else."
She smiled back. "Oh, okay. Are you in this class?" she asked.
I nodded.
"Great! So, is this seat taken?" she asked as she pointed to the seat next to mine.
"Um, I don't think so..." I said, scratching the back of my neck.
She sat down next to me.
"Yay! Let's be friends, Jarret!" grinned Harper.
"Okay, Harper."
Harper. It's such a pretty name.
