Chapter 10: Full of People
Mom dropped me off at school.
School looked big. Super big. Bigger than me or Robin's house. Combined.
I went in and looked around.
Lincoln had pretty decent equipment. And a LOT of people too.
The halls were crowded with students. Some were tall, some were short (like me).
There were boys, and there were girls.
But there was no Robin.
I looked at the class schedule mom gave me before leaving.
The paper read, Room 213.
So I went there.
There were lots of kids there too. I sat down in a seat at the corner.
I felt so out of place. I was the only kid in room 213 whose parents weren't there.
I rested my head in my hands.
Why did I agree to go to school in the first place?
Then, suddenly, someone tapped on my shoulder.
I thought for a minute, could that be Robin?
I looked up.
