Daehyun's POV

As I was fixing my suit and tie, someone barged into my room. That someone was particularly my friends who will also attend the wedding.

"It's a big day today! You want to make the bride wait for you?!"

"I won't make her wait. Let's go now." I said while smiling back at them.

FLASHBACK

Author's POV

There is a girl named Y/N. She's the model student of their school having good grades. But not only that, she is also pretty not just by her physical appearance but also her heart. She is known as the fairy goddess of their school because of her perfectness. Many guys chases her but she simple rejects them as she is a goal-oriented person. Daehyun was the type of guy who doesn't care about his studies and just simply having fun playing soccer with his friends. They were classmates but they don't talk to each other because they are focused on their priorities. Until one day,

<CLASSROOM SETTING>

Their professor arrived in the class and suddenly asked them to bring out their books. He threathenened that if they don't have the book, they would be sent outside and have their punishment. Unfortunately, Y/N forgot her book. She was worried because it was her first time to left a book at her house and considering that she was known as the model student of the school, this simple problem would cause her reputation to be damaged. Daehyun seemed to know what Y/N is worrying about so he just placed his book on top of her desk and immediately called the attention of his professor saying that he left his book. He was sent outside and he doesn't care because he has nothing to lose. Y/N was so shocked thinking that why did he take the blame for her? She felt glad because of what Daehyun did but at the same time, she felt guilty for letting him take the punishment that was supposed to be given to her. After the class, she immediately thanked Daehyun but Daehyun told her that it wasn't for free. Daehyun told her to be his tutor to help him prepare for his college exam and she gladly took it. Months passed by, the two became close. Daehyun slowly developed his feelings towards her and he was planning to confess until she suddenly called him crying. So he immediately went to her house and saw her on their backyard, holding her knees while seating on the bench. He sat beside her as she immediately looked up.

Daehyun's POV

" I am a nerd. I am a bookworm. Ever since highschool all I did was to study. But I still screwed up."

She cried so hard which made me panic. I don't have any handkerchief to lend her and I don't know what to do. As I was panicking, I just immediately grabbed my shirt and removed it and gave it to her as she cries. I am still in dazed and I don't know how to make her feel okay so I just suddenly opened my mouth.

"No matter which university you go, there is something that I want to say to you"

"Please don't tell me you like me now"

" I do like you and you knew that already"

"what do you want to tell me then?"

I didn't answer. I just patted her back and comfort her as she continues to cry.

Despite of her failing her entrance exam, she still got into the University of Education. It really does suit her being a teacher and I am happy for her. I accompanied her as she waits for the train to arrive as she is travelling to another city to pursue her dreams.
