Scars and Bullets

After the movie was over I fell asleep in Jace's lap.  He didn't mind of course.  He took my into my room and laid me on my bed and covered me up and kissed my forehead. 

I dreamt of the terrible scene of me trying to commit suicide and so desperate that I dug through the damn trash! I practically relived it.  I saw the scared faces of my band mates and how they itched to help but were frozen in horror.

I then was shook awake.  I opened  my eyes and there

sat  Bret looking at me like he just got me back from death. 

"What? "

"You were crying in your sleep Scarlet. " I touched my face and noticed it was wet and I dried it with my Pajama sleeves.

I put my hair in a sloppy pony tail and sat  up.  It was morning.  I swung my legs over the side of my bed.

"Please don't get up. " He asked nicely.

"Bret I didn't break a bone. "

"No but you are emotionally  broken. You need rest. "

"What I need is a cigarette and coffee. " I got up and walked to the dresser and pulled  out the little box and got out one and grabbed my lighter and exited my room and Bret followed.

"I didn't know you smoked. "

"Only when I want to I do Bret it's not a addiction  like you and whiskey. "

I went into the kitchen and started the coffee and went outside and Bret followed.  I leaned against the wall and put my foot on the wall so it was arched. I lit my cigarette and took a loong drag.  I blew it out and felt a sense of relief.

I sighed then took another drag.

"You know you dont have to watch me ."

"Im worried about you."

"Oh please Bret I can take care of myself ." I said and blew the smoke out.

"Clearly you cant Scarlet! 4 fucking days ago you could have died!"

"Because I wanted too! Its not the first time Ive tried to take my life Bret."

"When was the last time?" He asked.

"About a year after you left." I took another drag.

"Im still very sorry about what I did."

"I get it. You couldnt bear to see your mom. I ran from my dad. But thing is you never came back. I was so hoping youd come back for us on your eighteenth birthday but you stayed in Washington D.C."

He stayed silent and I blew the smoke out and took another drag.

"Ill tell you what happened but its not what you wanna hear. When I turned eighteen I started to try and form bands. I would even teach them drums and guitars and bass. It kept me occupied."

"We were gonna start a band together remember? But you cheated and left and I felt used."

"Im so sorry i put you through that much."

I released the smoke and took one last drag.

"Why Sierra? She picked on me so much and i hated her and you knew it."

"I got drunk at a party I was forced to go too." I let the smoke go and stomped it on the ground.

"Brooke's party. Let me guess Blade dragged you?"

"Yup." I sighed and looked at him.

"Alright fine I forgive you. But you cant expect me be nice around you or fall in love with you or be comfortable near you ok?"

" Deal." He smiled and we went inside.

I went and got my coffee.

"Young lady why arent you in bed?" Shade asked.

"Guys Im fine stop with the fussing."

"So did only Bret spend the night?" They all nodded and I raised my eyebrow at Crystal.

"So no Tyler in your bed?"

"Noo." She said and blushed.

I smiled and poured everyone coffee. Even Bret.

God dont let this be a mistake for forgiving him.

Soon we decided to go to the mall. I had to get dressed and put my makeup on so I did. I waited on everyone and soon they came out and broke the silence between me and Bret....thank god.

We got into the van and went to the closest mall. When we got there i headed straight for hot topic. I looked at the band wall tshirts and saw The Relapse Symphony on a tshirt with lighting . I got that shirt and a Asking Alexandria shirt and a Crown The Empire shirt. I also got some earrings that had chibi batman on it.

I paid for my things and met Bret and Crystal outside the store.

"Finally ." She murmured.

i rolled my eyes and we went to rue 21 and I just followed Crystal and Bret because I didnt have anything to look at. Soon someone jumped on my back and knocked me over and Bret whipped his head to see. Jace had tried to jump on my back and knocked us both over.

I was laughing my ass of because Jace hit his head on a clothes rack.

"Karma's a bitch." I said and got up with Bret's help.

Soon we all went to a shoe store and I got some combat boots. Me and Crystal were goofing off and then I went over to the movie posters and it said Warm Bodies was out!

I begged the guys to go see it with me and they agreed even though it was a chick flick. We got a huge tub of popcorn and some drinks and we went into the theater.

It was like 20 minutes til the movie started and we were all on our phones. Believe it or not my band has a fan base. Because the videos we put on youtube took of and the people who attended our bar concerts and plus the people who saw our music video on the Bryan Stars channel. Which by the way was up to 45789 views.

I was replying to the fans and there wasnt much so i ended up playing Bubble Witch Saga.

Soon the movie started and I was between Bret and Jace...again...what the hell how did this happen? Oh well.

They ran the commercials and I took a fistful of popcorn and took one popped kernel from my hand and ate it and repeated.

The movie finally started and I propped my feet up against the seat in front of me. I found it funny that R kept talking to himself and putting himself down through out the entire movie.

It go to the part where the girl has to take her clothes off so she wont freeze to death.

"Holy Shit , Holy shit ,Wow." R said and I laughed and so did Crystal and the rest of my band and Bret were just snickering.

The movie soon ended and I loved the ending.

We got out if the theater and went home. I went and took a shower and when I came out Bret asked if he could use the shower because he was spending the night again and I said yes.

I went and joined everyone in the livingroom and we watched The Vampire Diaries. My favorite show! Crystal likes it too and the guys don't mind watching it.

Then Tristan screamed, "Sleep over!"

I got the blankets and we all laid in the livingroom watching Tv then Bret came out of the shower and saw what we were doing and joined us even though his hair was still wet.

I was sitting beside Bret against the couch and then I just past out from being sleepy but didnt know where I landed.

Alright guys so Andy and Juliet arent getting married the photo was photo shopped. :( but im still freaking out from when Bret called me dudes! Anyway go to my book Lies Might Go Away and go to the most recent chapter and ask me a question or the characters a question.
