She Isn't Dead?

****************Brets POV******

Today was the day. I was gonna propose to Rayna. I looked at my phone and saw tons of missed messages. Jace. Cassie. Crystal. Scar's Dad. Wonder what happened? I tossed it aside and kissed Rayna awake. She smiled and kissed me back and cuddled my chest. Then my phone went off and looked at it and saw it was Cody. Huh he never calls me. This must be important. I pressed answer.

"Hello?"

"You fucking bloke! Answer the goddamn phone for once! They found Scar! In Texas! She was being held captive by Sierra and Trey! Get your ass to the airport in an hour!" He hung up and i dropped the phone shocked. She's alive? Oh my god... Scarlet Massacre the girl of my dreams is fucking alive??? Rayna was trying to get me out of my thinking trance but she wouldnt succeed.
 I got up and started packing a bag.

"What the fuck is going on!!!!????" She screamed at me.

"They found Scarlet! I have to go see her."

"I thought she was dead."

"So did I."

"Well I'm going with you!"

"No..." I stopped packing as i answered and continued.

"I'm not letting you go alone!"

"I'm not. I'm going with her band."

"You hardly talk to them!!"

"That's because the memory of her was too hard to bear thinking she was dead. I'm going and thats final."

She huffed and got dressed and grabbed her purse and dashed out the door. I need to do this. Scar is alive. I got dressed quickly and grabbed my packed bag and my wallet and anything else I thought I'd need. I ran down the stairs and went out the door to the car. I quickly drove to the airport. Just in time. Her band had bought me an airplane ticket and I paid them back. We hardly spoke. Cody gave me cold eyes the entire ride to Texas. This was gonna be a long ass ride.

**********Scars POV******

Apparently I'm in Texas. Didn't know that till i heard the nurse say it. She said everyone answered but the first number...Bret. Great. Hopefully my former band will tell him somehow. The nurse said they'd be here when i woke up. I was on pain medicine so falling asleep was pretty easy for once in a year and a half. Or so I thought....nightmares haunted my dreams. I was awaken multiple times by my nurse. For awhile I dreamt of nothing but darkness.

Next time that I awoke i heard people arguing outside my door. Or rather my nurse violently whispering something. I couldn't see who because my eyes weren't all that woken up along with me. I rubbed my eyes and saw Jace come in the room. I looked at him like my world had change forever....I quickly sat up and i hugged him as tight as i could. I started to cry and soaked his shirt with my tears.

"Its really you Scar?"

"Yeah. Its me."

"We thought you were dead..." He said pulling away from the hug.

"I heard...."

"They found a body and everything but they couldn't identify the DNA it was so mangled. Bret and your Dad said it was you.... I'm glad they were fucking wrong." He said and hugged me again. Crystal then came in and hugged me tight so did Shade and Tristen. My family.

"I heard you guys replaced me..." I said quietly.

"We didn't replace you...the label required we get a temporary singer. Shes a bitch." Shade said and we laughed.

"You still fucked her though." Tristen muttered and I laughed.

Cassie stood there at the door and cleared her throat smiling at me but stayed at the door way.

"Oh um Scar we have a surprise for you..." Jace said and went over to Cassie and behind her and picked up the cutest baby I've ever seen. I covered my mouth smiling at Jace and the baby.

"Oh my god!!" I said and Jace carefully handed her to me.

"Whats her name and how old is she!???"

"Scarlet Rose. Shes 10 months old."

"Scarlet?" I asked looking at Cassie and Jace.

"We named her after you. The best person we've ever known." I started to cry when Cassie said that. Jace took the baby after i kissed her forehead and she giggled. My smile was at least 10 miles big. 

"We got married too." Jace said.

"Bout damn time." And we laughed.

Cody and Alyssa came in and attacked me with hugs and questions and I tried to answer them. Cody sat on the edge of my bed smiling at me. I could see in his eyes he still liked me. But i patiently waited for Bret to walk through that door.

Suddenly I saw him run down the hall way and abruptly stop infront of my room and he slowly walked in smiling with tears in his eyes. He's finally here. I waited a year and a half for this moment.   He came over to me and hugged me tight and avoided my attempt to kiss him...maybe he just wants a hug. My band and Cody and Alyssa left us alone.

"I can't believe you're really here." Bret said.

"I fought to be with you again love." I smiled laying my hand over his as tears threatened to spill over.

"I..i need to tell you something. I...have a girlfriend." He said.

"Oh." My heart dropped when he said that. Was Sierra right? Maybe.

"I only did it to get over your "death"." He said.

"Please don't hate me."

"I don't hate you."

"Really?"

"I love you...."
