The New Green Eyes

**************2 weeks laater**************

I finally was settled into the band house once more. Bret watched me pack my things from his room and he had tears streaming his face. I felt some sympathy for him but we aren't good for each other. Whether its a tiny secret or a tiny blast from the past it would still somehow tear at me or him.

I cuddled Bullet as I woke up with her tail tickling my face. I sat up and she hopped into my lap and nuzzled my leg. I smiled and hugged her and she purred softly. I love this cat more than anything even though Bret got her for me. She jumped off and scratched the door open and she made her way into the livingroom looking for food.

She wondered around the couch and saw Cassie sleeping on the couch. She hissed at her multiple times. I got up and shooed her away from Cassie. I wasn't very fond of her either but she shouldnt get hissed at the first thing in the morning. I went to the kitchen as I held Bullet and I made some coffee. Jace came out and only had pants on. I rolled my eyes. I knew what he was doing he was trying to make Cassie remember.

I sipped on my coffe while Bullet meowed as she roamed the table over to where Jace was sitting. Jace petted her gently and I finished and washed my cup and put it away.

"So what are we doing today?"

"Well Alyssa's moving truck is in today so we are going to help her move in along with Cody today."

"Yay! I get to see Alyssa and this mysterious Cody!!!" I smiled and jumped. Bullet then followed me to my bedroom when I went to go get dressed. I went to take a shower and I made sure Bullet stayed out. Such an attached kitty.

While I was in the shower I started to day dream.

I stepped into the shower to clean myself after that huge nightmare I just had that woke me up and I was sweating. I pushed Bullet out of the bathroom and stripped bare and entered the shower. I turned it on hot and began to wash my hair. 

Soon I grabbed for my body wash but was met with the shower curtain being ripped open. Bret. I smiled and he stripped an dgot in with me and slowly and carefully washed himself. Then in the middle of me washing myself he pulled me close to him so he was basically breathing down my neck. He whispered my name seductively and started to kiss and suck on my neck. I moaned softly and shivered and he smiled.

"Tell me you want me Scar."

I shook my head and mentally slapped myself for thinking all that. I can't be thinking all that. He has no right to be in my dreams at all since i broke up with him. There will be no more of that. I sighed and finished and wrapped a towel around my tiny body and got dressed and did my hair and makeup.

I decided to wear my plaid shirt that just went to my belly and some jean shorts since I was going to be working. I had put my hair up in a ponytail as well. Its not like im going out im just helping Alyssa move in.

"Scar the truck is here!! Shade get your ass up! You too Tristan!!!" I ran out of my room and saw Cassie was already ready to help even though she didnt even know them. I ran outside and saw Jace talking to Alyssa. I ran down the stairs and practically jumped on Alyssa's back and she screamed. I laughed and she smiled and hugged me very tight.

"i missed you motherfucker!!!" She screamed and we both laughed.

"Where's Crystal?" I asked.

"Shes already in their apartment setting some things up." Jace answered and I nodded.

"So wheres this Cody?" I asked and just as I did that a man emerged from the back of the truck. He was tall and had black hair. He was wearing skinny jeans and combat boots and had a black an white checkered belt on. He had a guns an roses shirt on . He looked up and smiled when he saw me and I could see his green eyes sparkle. Damn he was cute!!!

He smiled and winked at me and went to take the box in. Holy fucking shit man!!! I was mezmerized by him. Damn...

"....is that fine with you Scar?" Jace asked.

"Hmm? Oh yeah." I said not paying attention what they were asking me to agree on. I grabbed a box and went into the apartment. I entered their apartment and saw Cody talking to Crystal. Crystal was giving the run down on everyone. I slowly unpacked the boxes as I tried to listen in on what she was saying about me.

"....oh yeah and Scarlet....shes been through a lot. She used to get abused and ......" Blah blah blah he doesn't wanna hear that.

".....she just broke up with Bret Von Dehl like 2 weeks ago after she had a motorcycle accident."

"She seems pretty cute and awesome." He said.

"She is awesome but don't get to thinking you can just get with her for one night or something cause if you do I'll hurt you so badly." She said and I chuckled and they both looked over at me. I shook my head and looked back at what I was doing. I then went outside for another box soon and I saw the unexpected. 

Bret...

My jaw almost dropped. I ran back in and slammed the door. Cody and Crystal looked at me to see what I was doing.

"Bret is fucking out there! I am not going to speak with him if thats why he is here..."

"Let me go see why he's here." Crystal said and walked out. I sat on the couch and put my head in my hands. Cody hesitated but he soon came to sit down next to me. He rested his hand on my knee. I looked up and saw sympathy in his eyes.

"I'm sorry what happened between you two." He said and i waved it off.

"I'm not afraid of him if thats what you think...just everytime im around him and we aren't together he tries to get with me and tries to make me like him again."

"Why don't you let yourself like him?"

"Cause we are bad for eachother....we always fuss about stupid things."

"Thats what good relationships consist of hun." He rubbed my knee and looked into my eyes. he slowly leaned in and so did I. Our lips touched and he kissed me. I kissed back. I then heard footsteps  and I pulled away fast and stood to my feet.

"Apparently you agreed to let him come over and help..." Crystal said. I facepalmed.

"Shit! I said yes because I was mezmirized by Co....nevermind." I saw Cody smirk and I went back to get some boxes. I  saw Bret talking to Alyssa but when I walked passed him his attention was immediately on me and me only. I bent over to get 2 boxes and I stacked them ontop of eachother. 

"Hey Bret stop looking at Scar's ass and help me!" Shade yelled. A giggle escaped my throat but I hushed and took the boxes up and unpacked. Bret came in with his boxes and started to unpack. Cody passed me and slapped my ass and whistled. I blushed and Bret gave him a death glare. I laughed and went to get more boxes.

By the end of the day we had all the boxes unpacked and everything. Bret crashed on livingroom floor of the band house. I rolled my eyes and went to my room and Bullet stepped on Bret's head as she ran for my room. I giggled and let her in and i went to get ready to go to sleep.

I can't get those green sparkling eyes out of my mind......
