Letters To Louis // l.t.

May 21th, 2010 - letter 21

Dear Louis,

It's been a hectic couple of days, now hasn't it been? 

Thanks for visiting me.

When my parents found me on my bathroom floor, barely breathing with bloody wrists and an open bottle of pills, I had never been happier in my entire life. As the room started to darken I had realized what I had done and I suddenly wanted to fix it all, puke up the pills and bandage my wrists, but I couldn't move. I thought it was the end, but then my mom walked in and yelled for my dad to call 911.

I've never been happier in my entire life.

But the thing that made me beyond grateful that I didn't end my life was that I got to see you again when I was in the hospital. 

Heaven only knows how, but somehow my parents managed to find your number, call you and tell you that I was in the hospital for a failed suicide attempt. 

I guess they did listen to me when we ate dinner together and I'd tell them about you. 

So anyways they asked you to come visit me and my parents said that they have never seen someone respond quicker to one of their requests then how you did.

They said you never left my hospital room. You were always by my side, holding my hand and praying that I'd get better and wake up soon.

When I did wake up you started to cry and you hugged me for longer then I can count. At first I thought I was dreaming, but then I soon realized I wasn't and I was crying. Then you mumbled "don't ever do that again to me, you idiot. I don't know what I'd do without you." and that made me cry harder and squeeze you tighter.

I missed you so much, Louis. I missed you so much. 

I love you so much.

Thank you for not giving up on me.

I'm looking forward to practicing with you again.
