Olga_GOA is a huge writer in the Mature scene on Wattpad. Her book, 'Fateful Italian Passion', has 317k reads and her account hosts plenty of amazing books that have all done extremely well. She's been a huge inspiration for me and for many others in the Wattpad community. You can imagine how ecstatic I was when she agreed to do a short interview with me. Here are her answers!

FIP has done amazingly well, as have all your other books. What inspired you to start writing on Wattpad?

Hi, dear. Thanks for giving me this opportunity to be interviewed by you.
And also thanks for awesome question and lovely remark. I really appreciate it.

Actually my two close friends inspired me to write on WP. She told me that I have to post my book and find here a lot of fans. When I came to Wattpad, FIP was already written but no one knew about my book. I decided to try this source about writing and understand how people would react on my books. Will they love them or not? It was really big experience to talk with readers and hear their wishes or suggestions. They helped me a lot, because I changed something in my book and it became better. I'm so grateful to them for that.

What did it feel like when you hit 100k reads for the first time?

I felt like. OMG, no way! Did I reach such big goal? I can't believe it! I want to kiss all my readers and hug them tight.

When I came here it was like big dream for me to reach such goal but friends that I found here told me that I will catch it. And I did. I'm glad that they support me and make me believe in it.

Who's your biggest writing inspiration?

I always wanted not to open this big secret lol but I will tell you. Famous writers who wrote worldwide bestseller books were my biggest inspiration because of their experience and great writing that really captivated me. Most of them wrote dark romance or stories about people who lost in life, who needs help, support and love. If you want to know who are they you can check the Author's Note of my first book known as FIP. I thanked them for that in this note.

What's the best part about being a writer on Wattpad?

Best part about being a writer on Wattpad - to know more about people's opinion who read your books, the experience of communication with them, see what they feel when reading my stories and what about they think or dream after finish reading. It's good recourse for writers who want to publish their books and still not sure is it right to do it or better to wait for good time? They can see how people love their books or not, Must they change something in their writing or not. Also writers can find here good beta readers or editors who can help to improve your writing and help to move on. And I think to find good supporters and friends who can help you any time and to do many things.

Anyone that follows you knows how nice you are to all your fans. How do you have time to reply to everyone's comments?

I think I have not so many people whom I follow that really talk with my fans. Some of them have their own fanbase so they haven't time to say hi to my readers. Only my closed friends-writers can talk with my fans because they don't mind to promote my books and don't afraid of the competition. It's good qualities of these people and I really appreciate their love and kindness. I think if you're true writer you never wouldn't be afraid to comment under book of another author, because you know, it wouldn't change anything. People are free to choose which books they want to read, so no one could save writers from that fact that readers will not check pages of other writers and wouldn't fan their books. I think writers should accept it and move on.

About how I have time to reply my fans? Maybe because I'm really responsible person and don't like upset people. I try to catch any free minute if I have far from work and writing to talk with my readers. I feel if I wouldn't, people will think that I ignore them and don't care what they do for my books and for me. But I want people feel that I really appreciate every vote that they put under my stories, every comment that they wrote under my books. Because I know that they also catch time to read my stories even they have really busy life. I can only say – gigiant thanks for them and hug them tight. 

What can we expect to see next from you? Do you have any new book ideas?

Guys, I can't tell you. It's huge secret! Haha. I'm joking. Actually I started to write a lot of books and have a plan to finish them soon when I finish FIP series. I have a lot of ideas but I need time bring them to life.

What's been your best experience on Wattpad?

Best experience for me - how to learn writing better: more professional, more freshing and more beautiful. How to express own emotions on a paper, to create new world of fantasies for readers. And of course conversation with beta readers. They are amazing editors and point on things that you can't see. It's really good experience.

What's your favourite book on Wattpad?

I haven't favourite book, because I love a lot of stories here in my bae's lists. I can say, I attached to books that have more sensual, deep, smart, funny and hot plot and can really touch my heart. Schematic and cliché stuff without emotions not impress me. Because I like when a writer creates own world of emotions, not copying bestseller writers' books or WP writers' books who already written stories showing their ideas. For me professional writer means a writer who works hard to impress his readers and be unique in his own way.

How does it feel knowing you have so many people reading your work? Do you feel a pressure to upload?

When so many people read my work, I feel like I have wings behind my back. Because it proves how people feel my book, share their emotions with me and their thoughts. It's like to get big adrenaline from their love.
About updates I can say that I don't want my readers wait so long. I try to do my best, trying not disappointing them, but work takes so much time. Although I'm sure they really not mind about my slow updates and wait for them with impatience.

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

I will give advice – be unique, be strong, be not overemotional with haters and follow your way. Because only tough, smart and confident people can stay here. I had bad days on WP and good days, so I know what means to be a writer who has a lot of followers and attracts so much attention to himself, not only positive but negative. But we should fight it and don't mind at haters. We should be polite and clever. I think it makes you to be the bestest. Because any writer who registered on Wattpad wants to take own fame.
