azurenights is an amazing writer on Wattpad who has written books such as 'Addiction' which had 611k reads, and they have over 5k followers. It was great to interview them and here is what they had to say!

Why did you start writing on Wattpad?

I always found books interesting since I was a kid. Reading was something I loved to do more than going out or anything else. And then one day I thought I should write. I want to write. And then I found out about wattpad. And I'm here now, reading and writing, both in one place.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

I mainly get inspiration from music, music videos, BTS, other novels, nature. Anything can inspire me.

Which book has been your favourite to write?

I love to write all my books equally. But if I'd have to choose, then it'd be Addiction.

What's been your proudest moment on Wattpad?

My proudest moment on wattpad is when my readers tell me that I and my books inspire them and that I'm their favourite author. I feel the proudest at that moment.

What's the hardest part about writing on Wattpad?

The hardest part about writing on wattpad is when you feel pressurised to update. When you haven't written anything for sometime and then you feel stressed out because you want to update for your readers, but you have major writers block. That is the hardest part for me.

Where do you see your account in one year?

I don't know honestly. No one knows about future. All I care about is present. And I love how a lot of people are reading my books and loving them. So hopefully, in one year, more people will read my books and enjoy them and have a good time.

And finally, what piece of advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

The only advice I'd like to give to new authors is 'to write'. No matter what, just write. Even if you feel like it isn't good enough or writers block has attacked your mind, write. Even if you write only a few words. Practice makes perfect. And by reading and writing, your writing will Improve a lot. So just write it.
