BarnesTrash is a well-loved author within the Marvel community, and her book 'Bucky Barns Imagines and Preferences' has over 200k reads! It was really great to interview them, and here is what they had to say!

Why did you start writing on Wattpad?

I found Wattpad by mistake years ago because I was writing on Quotev I think it was and I wanted to read more books and when I found wattpad I decided to make a switch

Which character has been your favourite to write and why?

I've only really first stated to write my first book with an original character so it's pretty exciting to be honest, her name's Amara and I plan on bringing her character out further, I hope to use her as a way to spread the history of female rights as my book is set in the past and I noticed not a lot of girls know about the women who paved a path for us to become independent and I think it's very important for people to know

What's been your proudest moment on Wattpad ?

My proudest moment was definitely when I hit 100 followers, I remember how proud I was that people actually liked what I was doing, now I'm nearly 400 followers and I still get that feeling every time I pass a little milestone

Where do you see your account in six months?

I hope that I'll have a few more chapters up! The pace that I'm at right now is a bit slow for my liking so I hope that when I get time I can pick back up with more enthusiasm than I have before

What's the hardest part about writing on Wattpad ?

Finding the time! I'm nearly finished school and there is just so much work that I don't have time for myself much which includes writing, I don't like having something I'm committed to just sitting there which has been happening a lot lately unfortunately

Where do you get your inspiration from?

Music a lot of the time, I listen to a lot of old jazz, I love it, definitely my guilty pleasure! When I'm really tired I'll just put it on and close my eyes and whatever emotions come to me I might be able to imagine a scene in my head with people that go alone with it

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

Keep at it, just keep writing. It takes time, but once you get to that point where you thought you'd never see yourself it's great.
