AlexaVeil is an account home to some great Fanfiction, including stories like 'Marvel Ultimate SpiderMan OneShots and Preferences' which has 20k reads and 'Ground Zero' which has 8k reads. It was great to interview her and this is what she had to say!

Why did you download Wattpad?

I originally downloaded Wattpad because it was hard to just read books on the Internet with all of the ads and such, so I downloaded it just so I could read. I guess I just read enough that I eventually gathered enough courage to post my own book.

Where does your inspiration come from?

I never get my inspiration just by wanting to write another book, it will always just come naturally, and usually when I'm just doing everyday things.

Which book has been the most fun to write and why?

I think my most exciting book has to be 'Two Sides of the Same Coin' because the plot and characters are always so much fun to write.

Who are your writing inspirations?

Most of the time, my inspirations are solely from the writers of whatever show or movie I'm writing about, but occasionally I'll find a super good author on Wattpad that I just can't resist to base a chapter or idea off of.

What's your favourite book on Wattpad?

Honestly, there are too many to choose, but my favourite genre definitely has to be Fanfiction.

How did it feel to hit 1k for the first time?

It felt super good, because when I first started Wattpad, I honestly never thought any of my books would be good enough to even get pass 100 reads.

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

Always keep your ideas original, make sure you ALWAYS have good grammar, involve yourself in the community (follow, comment, and vote on other people's stories) and most of all you HAVE to be patient, because you're not going to have 100k overnight!
