starberryshots is a relatively new account, having joined six months ago, and they have already published 2 books, including 'The Thirsty Boys' which has 3k reads! They were nominated for this interview and I was really drawn to their account by their book covers which are #goals, and their books seem super interesting! Here is my interview with them!

Why did you start writing on Wattpad?

I really just started writing on Wattpad to, as cliche as it sounds, get away from the reality that I live. To write about what I hope to happen. Sometimes I even write memories that I hold dear to my heart, hence the book 'Storytime' (lowkey book promotion there xD).

Where do you get your inspiration from?

To be honest my inspiration comes from my idol authors, like Rowling, Meyer, Colfer, and many more that have sparked my mind to believe anything fantasy related. But they also add humor there books too! Like Ron from Harry Potter and Thorne and Cinder from The Lunar Chronicles.

You covers are so cool, do you make them? [they are really cool, just look at this one]

Yes, I am proud to say I make my own covers :)

Which book is the most fun to write?

I cannot really chose which book is my favorite to write, because they are all my babies. But I think "Thirsty Boys" and "Thee Pickup Calls" are my favorites, because of the cringe-y events.

What are some of your goals for your account in 2017?

Some goals... Well first it's to make my account goals af (cringing at my own pun)! But really I think it's first to make all of my books into the rankings, then we can see if I can become a wattpad star.

Who are your favourite Wattpad writers?

Favorite wattpad writers... I really only have a few. I really love @hallucynated, @yuenwrites, @istolethecookiez, and @sonderingly @softaen. They all have amazing humorous, sizzling romantic cheesy, and sorrowful books! All in one!

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

This actually was in a "Discovering Wattpad" type of book, but the advice given to me was "write from your heart" and ironically I took that advice to heart. So I am passing this on to you guys! Just because you don't have many readers or someone goes and comments a bunch of rude stuff on your work, just ignore it and continue to write from your heart.
