claudiaoverhere is an amazingly successful account with 98.3 k followers and a Watty under her belt. Her most popular book, 'Perfect Addiction', has 40 million reads and she's inspired hundreds to start writing Romance. This is my interview with her!

1. You're massively successful on Wattpad, what made you start writing on Wattpad in the first place?

I guess it's because I used to write a lot of stories on my laptop but never had the guts to share them for the fear of being judged too harshly. But I wanted to push myself to get my stories out there because I knew that if I was serious about being a writer, I needed to learn to withstand critique and judgement.

2. Who are your biggest writing inspirations?

Cassandra Clare, Colleen Hoover and Sarah J Maas. They're the three goddesses of YA/NA fiction.

3. How did it feel when you hit 1 millions reads for the first time?

I was ecstatic. I was completely blown away at the tremendous amount of support I had. It was crazy because my debut novel was only on Wattpad for a couple of months before it blew up.

4. What did it feel like to win a Watty?

It felt surreal. I couldn't keep the smile off my face the entire day when it got announced.

5. You have 98.3 k followers- do you ever feel pressure to update books or send out messages?

Constantly. But I try not to let it affect me that much. But I have a great fan base- they know that I'm starting uni and I'll be very busy so I won't have time to update that much anymore. And they completely understand.

6. Do you have any books you're planning to publish in the future?

I'm not sure yet, but I'm hoping that if 'Bite' goes well, I'd want to publish it. I wouldn't want to publish the 'Perfect' series- it doesn't embody my full writing potential.

7. Which book was the most fun to write?

'Perfect Addiction'. I loved writing Sienna. I love writing her witty comebacks and snarky comments. She continues to amaze me still.

8. And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

Never write for views. Always write what you want to read. Don't give into the pressure of updating because your fans tell you to update. The last thing you want is to cough out a half-assed chapter just for the sake of pleasing your fans. You don't want to end up hating your book. Don't get discouraged if you have little views on your book. If your book is good, it will eventually get the recognition it deserves.
