HotPot_Hungry was nominated twice to be interviewed! They have written the book 'My Roommates' which currently has 25 thousand reads! This is what they had to say!

Why did you download Wattpad?

I was a huge One Direction fan back then, so being in a fandom means your bound to read their fanfics. I had no knowledge about Wattpad, so normally I used to look for fanfics on Google so while scrolling down I found 'After' by Anna Todd and that's how I came across the app of Wattpad! lol.

Who are your biggest writing inspirations?

To be very honest, I rarely read. The only books I've read are 'Paper Towns' and 'Goosebumps'. This is going to sound so weird, I get writing inspiration while drinking tea or while preparing tea! Oh gosh this is embarrassing!

What has been the hardest part of writing your book?

I have written few facts about Indian culture and the social life of the Indian people in my books, which some of them might find offending. But turns out readers actually were relating themselves to some facts; and that just made everything a lot less stressful!

How did it feel to hit 1k for the first time?

Wow, I was literally sitting on the couch and jumping on it! The feeling was amazing, it felt like I had achieved something big, a reward for my own work. But then in the end, it's the readers and their lovely comments and precious votes that encourages a writer to work harder! So I'd like to thank them for being a part of my life!

What's been your best Wattpad experience?

The best Wattpad experience/ experiences I'd like to call it as!

1. I became acquainted with so many people.
2. The different books I've read (I'm married to so many male leads from different books in my dreams lol)
3. Lastly, the most beautiful comments that make the experience absolutely surreal for me.

What's your favourite part about writing on Wattpad?

It's like you're expressing yourself through your writing, it's like escaping from the real world and make your characters happy! It's like you're being you and nobody's gonna judge you for that! And Wattpad is a medium for one to show off their skills and that's really awesome.

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

Advice, it's the most terrifying word for me lol! Just do what you feel, write what you want to write. Push yourself to love your characters, and ask yourself to get lost in their world. Trust me things will automatically float! Why do I feel I failed miserably with the 'advice' part?
