Why did you start writing on Wattpad?

Honestly, it just sort of happened. I was about twelve and started reading on Wattpad when I felt like I wanted to create my own story. I'd never wanted to be an author until I found this site, so I'm eternally grateful for it.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

Anywhere. Dreams, seeing random people on the street, other books and movies, chocolate milkshakes... Ideas just sort of come to me randomly.

How did it feel to hit 1 million reads for the first time?

Surreal. I checked the read count multiple times and still couldn't believe it. I'd never thought I'd hit 100 reads, much less a million!

Who are your writing inspirations?

Gosh, I have so many authors I look up to. Rainbow Rowell, Marissa Meyer, James Patterson, Susan Ee... the list is endless.

Which book has been the most fun to write?

Ohh, this is a good question. I enjoy writing all of my books, but I think the one I've had the most fun with would be 'Fat' or 'The Inception'. Both of them have a lot of humor on my part, and it's fun to play around with character personalities.

What's the best part about writing on Wattpad?

The best part about writing on Wattpad is the readers. It's 100% true. Without this site and without my incredibly supportive readers, I would've never found what I truly love in life, and that's writing. Writing has enlightened me in so many ways, saved and humbled me. I genuinely don't know where I'd be without Wattpad and without my readers. This is what I want my future to be.

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

Don't focus on numbers! I know it's hard to stay motivated when you don't get that many reads or votes, but that's all the more reason to keep going. I used to struggle to get over 100 reads, and now it's normal for me to get over 100,000! If you truly enjoy writing, never give up on it. Creativity takes patience and persistence. Your big day will come soon.
