IslandApricot is an amazing account on Wattpad, and has written books such as 'Wattpad Rants' which has 4K reads, and 'Lurking In Miracles' which has 1.9k reads. Also their covers give me life! Here is my interview with them!

Why did you start writing on Wattpad?

The main reason why I started writing on Wattpad is that a user [who is my friend in real life] actually begged me to be on Wattpad. All of my stories were on either a Google Doc or in a notebook, so after a few months of begging and pleading, I finally decided to join Wattpad. It has been a very awesome and difficult journey.

Which of the characters you've created has been your favourite and why?

I honestly wish I could choose all of them, but since I have to choose one, I would have to go with Cyril Maybird. I believe he is my first disabled character I ever made, I think he is the cutest thing ever. It makes me feel all happy inside when people say they love his character so much.

What's been your proudest moment on Wattpad?

My proudest moment on Wattpad is when I got 100 reads on my book "The Harmony Of Best Freinds" I was so glad that people wanted to read that book. But after many months I realized it was cliche. Now, I am currently rewriting the whole book too make it not cliche [hopefully, XD].

Where do you see your account in six months?

I have no idea where I see my account in six months, honestly all I want to do is read and write xD.

What's the hardest part about writing on Wattpad?

The hardest thing about writing on Wattpad is mainly that I lose inspiration, it is honestly so frustrating. I am staring at my laptop/phone for a good hour or so then I give up and go listen to the Percy Jackson musical soundtrack to get inspiration.

Bam, two minutes later I have so many ideas! xD.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

I get my inspiration from reading, listening to music, and staring at the ceiling for a good hour or so.

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

I am horrible at advice, just do you. Try to make the story original as possible, it's fine to have cliche stories. But hey, you could be the next big thing and known as the author who has original stories! ^.^
