gabycabezut is an amazing account home to so many successful Wattpad stories for example 'Prince with Benefits' which has 59 million reads! It was amazing to interview her!

First off, congratulations on your success on Wattpad, did you ever think you would get this many reads and followers?

Thank you! No, if I'm honest, I had no idea things would be like this when I joined Wattpad. I was super shy and I was so scared to publish my first story and I was glad if one people read my story! (I'm still in awe every time I see the reads and comments on my stories!).

Which book has been the most fun to write?

Every story is different and I've enjoyed writing all of them. I love Prince with Benefits, it was really fun to write and even now, I enjoy writing bonus chapters and such. They flow so easily because I love my characters so much! But Take-Out Chef has been pretty fun to write to. Cooking is a big deal for me, so when I can write about it, tying it to a story, it's so much fun. And Writer's luck is my personal favorite right now. I had to put it on the side because I had so many projects, but I'm having so much fun with the characters! (and of course Bad-Boy Prince, I love Mark!).

You have 192 thousand followers, do you ever feel a certain pressure to deliver?

YES! So much! When I started on Wattpad, I wrote whenever, but now I feel like I have a responsibility to my readers. And I'm in so many things right now, it's insane. I still have to update, no matter what. Things just get a bit complicated sometimes.

You joined Wattpad 5 years ago, what has been the biggest changes you've seen on this site?

Wattpad keeps changing constantly. I have to confess I liked the little status bar we had a few years back, it was something random that you could write and not so official like the comments. But the overall appearance right now is pretty cool. I think all changes are for the best. And I love the multimedia stuff. I try not to put so many images because readers complained about it, but if it were to me, I'd place random gifs everywhere! hahaha

How did feel when you hit one million reads for the first time?

I couldn't believe it. I still can't. I'm amazed at how kind wattpad readers are. I remember that there was a time where I took a break from Wattpad for a while (life happened) and I couldn't believe it when I came back, I swore there was a glitch going on, but there wasn't.

It's an amazing feeling to do what you've always wanted to do and have readers actually enjoying it. Very fulfilling.

Who are your biggest writing inspirations?

My biggest writing inspiration is Jane Austen. I love her stories because they're cute and funny. They make me forget about real life, and that's what I want to inspire on others. To let go for a while.

On Wattpad, there are so many authors I look up to. I don't want to give out names because my memory fails me sometimes and I'm sure I'll forget names (plus there are really many people!).

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

Write what you love. Enjoy it. Give it out your best. And instead of going around profiles sending links, why don't you start commenting on other stories? I've found great friends that way, and I not only read their comments, I try to encourage them as much as I can!
