-kyavhill is an amazing writer on Wattpad, having written books such as 'Whisper in the Woods' which has 23k reads, and they have over 300 followers. It was lovely to interview them, and here is what they had to say!

Why did you start writing on Wattpad?

I started reading on here first, my friend introduced it to me. She was writing a story of her own at the time and I've always loved to write since I was little. So that really interested me. So she and my other friend convinced me to start my own story. I was a little skeptical about it but I gave it a try and I'm so glad I did!

What's the best part about writing on Wattpad?

The feedback and upbuilding comments that your readers give you. It definitely helps me. There are many times where I just wasn't feeling my story and comments from my readers made me feel so much better.

Where does your inspiration come from?

My inspiration comes mainly from action/thriller/mystery movies. It's my favorite genre in movies and TV. I mean one of my favorite shows when I was little was Kim Possible and Totally Spies! I love strong misfit female leads - which reflects my main character in Society.

What's the hardest part about writing on Wattpad?

I'd say waiting for readers when you first come out with a story. It definitely takes time for it to get out there.

What's your favourite book on Wattpad?

Crush by @GRANTGUSTIN - It was such a cute story and I'm a huge Marvel fan!

What's the best message you've received on Wattpad?

There was this one time I got this super long comment on Society and it basically said that she recommended my story to her friend because she loved it so much and her friend ended up saying that she read my first story Whisper of the Woods and it made her cry at certain parts. She said they fangirled over me and that just made me so happy you don't even know!

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

To any new writers on Wattpad, if you really love the idea and plot if your story - your readers will come in no time. Time flies when you're having fun yknow? Writing is definitely a learning process too. The more you write you get better, I've found that true with myself when I started editing Whisper of the Woods. So I hope that helps! x
