astrophile is an amazing account on Wattpad, and has written books such as 'Superhero Hotline' which has 30k reads as well as other works. It was lovely to interview them and here is what they had to say!

Why did you start writing on Wattpad?

I started writing on Wattpad because it motivated me to actually complete projects. Before Wattpad, I kept starting new stories but I never actually finished anything. Now, I have many completed stories, thanks to Wattpad, so I'm glad I joined.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

I get my inspiration from random sources, mainly from events that happen in my life and my ability to question almost everything.

Which book has been the most fun to write?

I'd definitely have to pick my dialogue story, Superhero Hotline. It was such an intense ride, and even I didn't know how it would end. I was flying by the seat of my pants and I loved every moment of it. :')

What's been your proudest moment on Wattpad so far?

My proudest moment was when Superhero Hotline hit #17 in Short Story. It was nice to see my efforts be rewarded.

Are you planning on writing anymore books?

Indeed! I'm currently working on a fantasy novel.

What's the best part about writing on Wattpad?

The best part about writing on Wattpad is interacting with readers. I just love being able to connect with people and make them feel things. I especially love it when they tell me I made them cry over a scene in my book, too. (Yes, I'm quite sadistic.)

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

I'd tell them to keep working hard. The key is to make a daily writing habit. If you write every single day, you'll improve so much in your skill and you'll make a lifelong passion at the same time.
