When did you start writing on Wattpad?
On my current account I started February 2016, but I'd been on Wattpad writing fanfiction for about three years already.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
Usually, from things around me or online. One of the Bullied was created after years of personal experience (and a LOT of imagination) and Meme Girl is actually based on the Cash me ousside girl's story. Other books are just things I make up: however, if you know me in person, you can always read little details, like a character having a particular food might be because I just ate that.
What's been your proudest moment on Wattpad?
I don't particularly have one because I haven't done too well, but I guess every time I receive a long comment or PM about how much someone enjoys my books. That's a wonderful feeling.
What's the best part about writing on Wattpad?
The best part has got to be that I can do something I love, but it can be social, too. I love getting feedback, and bonding over books with other authors!
Which book has been the most fun to write?
I started writing "Meme Girl" about a month ago and it's a blast to write. It's hilarious and takes a lot of concentration and thought from me, which I like.
Who is your writing inspiration?
If we're talking Wattpad, it's got to be @Rubixcube89201 . Their book TGGBB really helped when I was writing One of the Bullied.
If we're talking outside of Wattpad for the books I personally write, I'm going to have to say Arthur Miller, John Steinbeck, Harold Pinter and Patrick Ness.
And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?
Write whatever you want, and if you get reads that's great, if not, well, it's not the end of the world. If possible, don't make cliche stories about bad boys because Wattpad doesn't exactly need more of those. Break the norms, write whatever the f*ck you want.
