Awkward… Very, very awkward drive home. I opted for backseat. With every turn I cringed and clutched a tighter grip on the seatbelt. Jay was driving slowly and Tom was staring off into the city as it drifted by. So, as I found out, Tom and I hadn’t dated…
“We’re nearly there,” Jay said quietly. I looked up to the rear view mirror and Jay’s blue eyes turned into my father’s dark brown eyes as they flashed past in a moment. My gaze snapped down.
“ARRIA!” A man shouted and wrapped his arms around me. I wished I could remember him; he had a cap on and twisted it to the side slightly. A small micky mouse cartoon was printed on the flap. When he let go I was pulled tightly into a shorter man’s hold.
“Good to see you back,” he said with a Manchester accent.
“Thanks,” I say and yet another person came to hug me… He was also very familiar and Irish… that stung another memory in the back of my head.
“How are you?” he asked keeping me close to his chest and ruffled my hair. Heavy Irish accent… stunning cheek bones…
“I’m confused,” I say bitting on my bottom lip and pulled away to look at his face harder.
“You don’t remember us do you?” said the shorter man who lacked hair. I bit my bottom lip a little harder and shook my head before turning to Siva… wait!
“Are you…?” I say and looked back to the male model… he sang as well… and played the guitar.
He looked at me in anticipation, “Yes,” he said waiting.
“Siva?” his face melted and a smile spread across his face as he went in and wrapped me up in another warm hug. When he let go my gaze fell on Tom and Jay. Devastation ran through Jay’s eyes, but there was a flicker of hope as well.
“Well then, I’m Nathan Sykes,” the first on said with the cap, he seemed hurt, but he hid it carefully. I nodded and the shorter one said,
“Max George… and I ahh, got to go,” he said making an apologetic face before walking past us and to the front door.
“Him and Michelle,” Nathan said to Tom who was frowning.
“What do you remember then Arria?” Siva asked and it took me a moment to realise he was talking to me. I mean, it wasn’t like Arria was my name.
“I’m Felicity not Arria,” I say watching the confused looks I got from him and Nathan.
“Ahh…?” Nathan said lifting his finger and frowned. His head tilted to the left a little and he looked from me to Jay.
“Her name’s Felicity,” Jay said sounding stung with every word.
“Alright,” Nathan said and picked up my bag. “How about I take you to your room,” he said smiling.
“Thanks,” I say and followed him up the stairs.

I was lying on my bed, not really doing anything… just straining my mind to recognise the dim images in my mind. I was trying to remember about Jay… I wanted to be that girl, I really did… but whoever I was before, I know I’m not her now.
“Fellie?” Nathan said from the door. He’d nicked named me that and somehow It’d stayed.
“Yeah?” I say watching him as he stood half in the door and half out.
“I just came to say we’re leaving soon,” he said smiling. He turned to leave, but I called him back with a sharp,
“Nath?”
“Yep?” He stood waiting while I mustered the strength to say,
“Can I ask you… about… what we were like before, when I use to remember?”
“Ahh…”
“If I’m going to make you late don’t worry about it,” I say and pulled my knees to my chest, wrapping my arms around them.
“No, I’m always late so who cares,” he said and closed the door behind him as he loomed over and sat himself down on the bed. “Where do I start?” he said to himself.

~~~Jay’s POV~~~
She remembered Siva and she’d thought that Tom was her boyfriend, for a moment at least. I don’t think I’ve had as crushing moments as this, now even my writing was sad and depressing and the guys were looking for an upbeat and kicking new album, but I just couldn’t think happy.
When I got back home she was in her room and a reading light faded through the break in the door. I was just about to walk in and talk to her when my phone rang and my courage failed.
“This is harder than it seems,” I mumble and then answer the phone call.
“Hello, James?” Doctor Monoray said.
“Yes,” I say and close the door into my room.
“Ah yes I called to see if there was any progress with Arria?” he said rather oblivious to the pain I had every time someone said that.
“She remembers Siva and Tom, but nothing much other than that,” I say sitting down with a sigh.
“It’s been a week since she’s been out,” the Doctor said more so to himself than to me. I knew that, a week without Arria, a week with Felicity. “Have you tried talking to her, just the two of you?” he asked.
“No, I was going to just before.”
“Ah, I highly suggest you do. Most cases of remembrance happen after a week of being exposed to friends and family, the sooner she remembers the better.”
“Wait,” I say slightly registering what he was saying. “You’re saying that if she doesn’t remember me within two weeks, she’s most likely forgotten me all together!?”
“Ahh…” the Doctor said pausing, “I’m afraid that might be the case. Not always, but often. Sometimes people will remember two years later, thirty years later, it’s not for certain, but it is often the case. I’m sorry James, but I have to go,” he said quickly. I sighed,
“Goodbye,” I say rather sourly. I figured I’d talk to her later, right now I wasn’t feeling so well.
