It had started to snow by the time it was darkening, the golden sun falling away from the streets of London and casting dark shadows across the grey streets. A thin white blanket covered the backyard turning the tree an eerie white silence as the snow fell. Bingo stayed in the house staring out at the white seemingly pissed off, Nymeria however ran around the backyard like a mad puppy, kicking up the snow on the ground and eating the flakes as they spiralled down. The Wanted, much to their dismay, were locked in the studio making their album. Jayne had told them that they couldn’t go out until they’d finished their first song on the record, even if they had done their part and needed to do no more. I guessed they’d be watching Nymeria outside from the large one way glass window that covered the outside wall of the studio. It stuck out of the house frame and the decking went over the roof of it, so, if for some reason, you wanted to sit on the roof you could, or railings and stairs led you over the top and to the spa.

I double looked at the recipe, so far from what I’d discovered Jay was defiantly a vegetarian and no one was allergic to peanuts or anything else so I had decided to go with ‘Spicy peanut sesame noodles with asparagus’. I didn’t have any asparagus though, and I wasn’t a big fan of it, so I replaced it with Capsicum and green beans, after I’d served Jay and I’s I’d add chicken for the others. Overall it took just under ten minutes to cook and prepare.

I quickly made sure Nymeria was okay with staying outside; she was very contempt to stay rolling in the white snow as the sun started to fade, and then I went upstairs with the food. A smile spread over my face when I saw Max and Tom sitting down next to each-other laughing at on a phone that Tom was holding. Nathan was in the box with Jay singing on of their new songs and Steve Mac and Jayne sitting at the controls, Siva stood over them.

“Dinner?” I say after Jay and Nathan finished singing.

.

Nymeria was still running around outside when it hit 10:00 and I started on the dishes. Bingo was curled up on the couch breathing lightly and I was tapping my foot to an invisible beat. The snow had started to pick up, heavy white snowflakes falling silently like phantoms of the night. Vivid black was attacked and fended off by a milky yellow haze of street lamps and house lights, metallic grey bruises blocked the stars and moon from appearing in the dance far above. A wound leaking frozen tears.

The door opened abruptly and in walked the tall dark haired man; his stunning green eyes looked angry and betrayed. I smiled at him and pulled away from the soapy water and dried my hands.

“How was your day?” I ask with a smile as I leant against the counter. He stormed closer, a flare of anger pressed through his cool persona that shifted vividly the moment he pressed me up against the fridge.

“How was my day?!” he spat angrily and I let my eyes dart to Bingo who was standing on the couch, he let out a low growl.

“Ricky, please your scaring me,” I say quietly, smelling the slightest of alcohol on his lips. He growled and pressed his hand to my neck, pressing hard until I felt the air escape and a sharp throbbing start to happen within my head. I pushed him away quickly frowning and took a step back, “Ricky tell me what’s wrong?” I say quickly. Bingo was growling louder from the lounge.

“You’re cheating on me! You left me today! You’ve ashamed me!” he shouted. I wasn’t sure if I was glad that the whole house was soundproof or nervous.

“Ricky I’m not cheating on you!” I say freezing when he lifted his hand to hit me and took two steps forward. Something stopped him, I didn’t quite hear it over the thumping of an over speed heart, but it came again.

“Arria are you okay?” I followed Ricky’s furious eyes to the stairs where Jay stood watching me carefully, his eyes darting to Ricky every other second.
