*~*~*~*~*~*~* Arria’s POV *~*~*~*~*~*~*

You sit there in your heartache, waiting on some beautiful boy to save you from your old ways, your old pains…

I stopped typing for a moment and looked down to Nymeria who was sitting on my feet as snow fell gently outside.

The sentient flames, the oncoming thunder,

the blizzard that comes to rent life asunder,

Ever questioned, ever pondered,

Why all good things are squandered?

Ever looked on, never seeing,

A reason for our being?

Ever chanced upon, or trod,

On a reason for a god?

Youth, and school, then house, work, wife,

Ever thought "there's more to life"?

Or wondered about evil's roots,

Of power, greed, forbidden fruits?

LOVE is the answer, the bridge and the bond,

For all things alive, of PEOPLE we're fond,

You've loved hot food, an IPod, or pet I am sure,

We love people because they are so much more,

it’s a curse it is true, the worst curse of giving,

but without LOVE, life isn't worth living,

Who needs the latest toy,

When you have a special boy?

The reason is that boys are whole,

and what else has a heart and a soul?

I finished the chapter there adding a final comment before saving and closing the box. Nymeria looked up and tilted her head to the side and a picture of Bingo and her came up. She let out a low howl and I petted her head,

“I know… I miss him too,” I say with a sad sigh. Bingo wasn’t the only one I missed, I missed Jay. I loved him, but it hurt like nothing I thought possible. My phone rang and I looked down at the item in my hands, it was Maggie. I let out a sigh and my head fell back against the couch and I left the duvet open to feel the cold. Somehow it felt like I wasn’t granted to feel warmth now that Jay had gone, because Jay was warmth.

The phone stopped ringing and a knock came at my door. Nymeria jumped up and let out a bark. “No Nymeria, be quiet!” I whisper loudly. The last thing I wanted was company. No one would shut up about the break up; everyone thought I was a cheating skank who opened her legs to anyone. They all thought of me being a horrid cow that broke Jay’s heart. I think I’m a horrid bitch who broke Jay’s heart… I never kissed the guy back, I fought to stop him, but Jay saw it either way and made up his mind. Now I’m here, acting like a dull Bella Swan when her Edward left her.

“YOU BETTER OPEN THIS BLOODY DOOR ARIANNA DESTRY!! UNLESS YOU WANT ME TO FREEZE MY BLOODY ASS OFF!!” Someone familiar shouted from outside. I jumped up and ran to the door. When I opened it the warm face of Maggie stood there wrapped in a big puffer jacket, a pair of jeans and some gloves. She smiled and embraced me in a big hug, “Come on girl we need to feed you some meat!” she said pushing me through the door and closed it behind her.
