We all sat in the conference room waiting on Fury since Maria informed us of an incident regarding an old SHIELD warehouse. Ever since the fall of SHIELD, we have been trying to help Thor locate Lokis scepter. Its been lost at the hands of Hydra, and many facilities still remain for us to search. Maria only mentioned that the assailants got away, and the squadron couldn't apprehend them, now WE have to catch them. I have my suspicions that HYDRA is behind this, Thor didn't seem to care, Nat and Clint were silently discussing something, whereas Bruce and Tony were a bit annoyed as to WHY Fury had to call us to catch them.

They were all having their own discussions until the doors opened to reveal Maria and Fury. They seemed to be in a rush because as soon as the doors opened, they headed straight for the table with a briefcase.

"What is this about?" Tony asked with annoyance in his tone.

"This" Fury said while opening the briefcase.

Suddenly, a hologram was being displayed in front of us, of a girl. A video started playing, and she was fighting off the squad of SHIELD agents with the earth. The room became quiet with shock written over everyones faces, then we all turned to Fury for answers.

"She's the one that attacked one of my old warehouses, stole a biological weapon, and got away with it." He deadpanned, "She can manipulate the earth, and has some combat training " he said pointing back to the video.

It continued to show her blasting the soldiers with more dirt, then she switched tactics when a soldier came up behind her. She struck him a few times in the arms, letting him drop his gun, then she slid around him and struck him somewhere behind his head. The video was slightly blurry, but we all saw him fall to the ground lifeless. Then it continued to show her blasting the soldiers, yet we all turned back to Fury for an explanation as to what she just did.

"Also, from the reports I'm getting from my men, she's skilled in some form of paralysis" he stated. The whole team gave an unbelieving look at him, yet Bruce looked more baffled than the rest.

"Paralysis?" He asked in a confused tone, "The human body can take jabs to pressure points and become weak, but not paralyzed" he explained. Tony surprisingly kept his mouth shut, not paying attention to the discussion that was going on.

"Yes Doctor, Paralysis" Fury confirmed, "She took out the guards by the warehouse with this form, and when my medics got to them not too long ago, they reported to have been paralyzed from the neck down, but they were fine after a couple of minutes" he stated, "I don't know how she managed to break the laws of human acupuncture doctor, but I guess you can ask her that when you all apprehend her"

"And her partner" Maria added.

The video continued, and the soldier who had the camera on his shoulder, lifted his hand up with a gun aimed at her back. The camera angle was clear enough for us to see, and we all watched closely to see what would happen. She was too busy controlling the earth, and knocking out the guards to have noticed him with it.

Suddenly, the camera shook, and a gun shot was heard. We all watched anxiously, but to only reveal her to be fine. The video then revealed a guy with a tank in his hands, standing over him.

"He aided her into stealing the biological weapon, that tank," she stated, then paused the video on the tank in his hands "From what we could pick up from CCTV around the area, they took off through the woods. Then they were spotted a few streets down heading to a few apartments. We found out who they are working for, and he is a Hydra incentive"

Of course they are involved

"So, does she have any family, or relatives?" I asked, trying not to dwell on the fact that Hydra is involved.

"From what I gathered, she doesn't have any. She was orphaned at the age of 10 when her mother died. She was then reported to have ran away from the foster agency she was placed in following that, and the only person that would be close to her, would be him" she replied while gesturing to the hologram of him.

"His name is Jake, and hers is Daya" Fury added.

"The location is just upstate, 10 minutes away with the Quinjet" Maria informed.

"Ok then, but how do WE take her down without her chucking rocks in our faces?" Tony questioned sarcastically.

"YOU, and Banner need to make some inhibitor cuffs. I don't want any collateral damage, or civilian endangerment, understood?" Fury replied while looking at Banner, and him. "Which also means that this mission is to be dealt with covertly" he said while looking at me.

"Well then! Let us capture this child of earth, and bring her back here!" Thor boasted. Fury only made up his face in annoyance.

"Yeah, we get it Patchy, you don't want US," Tony said while pointing at Bruce and Thor, "To get in the scene."

"Well thank you for understanding Stark" Fury replied.

"Alright, Nat, Barton, suit up" I ordered.

In the Quinjet

Nat, Barton, and I were suited up and heading for the location. Tony would be joining us when he and Bruce finish the cuffs. The plan was to head in, attempt to negotiate, and if things go well, we get the weapon back. If not, we take them by force. Thor is 'stand by' since he might make just as much of a mess as the other guy would.

Although they are criminals for stealing the weapon in the first place, I couldn't help but think about Daya. She was orphaned, ran away from her foster home, and she's just a kid.

"We'll be landing in 5" Clint shouted from the cockpit.

"Do you think she is a threat?" I asked Nat with caution, I wanted to hear her answer because she was silent through the meeting.

"Rogers, I was trained to KILL people before her age, its possible" She said sternly.

"You didn't answer the question" I replied with a slight tone of annoyance.

"Yes"
